Important safety item
I’ve thankfully not needed to use these yet. So perhaps not the best person to do a review. But, having these in my emergency bogg out bag gives a level of security that’s worth the cost. The military quality and appearance of these injury closure strips look perfect. I’d rather travel off the grid with them in the bag than without them - just make sure you’ve got a proper standard first aid kit too these just add a step up in security for that iccassiin wher an open cut needs bringing together.

This stopped my wound from continuing to open.
I had a cut that was not healing because every time i moved it pulled open . this easy to use wound closer was fantastic , easy to use, clear instructions but a little bulky. Bulky is a small price to pay for such a great result.

Fidgety but usefull
Great but fiddly ... i think for the price you should put in an extra one as they do take some skill to put on properly almost a waste. It is a good product when properly used

Excellent product
This is a very clever use of a cable tie. I was unfortunate to cut myself quite deeply and the ties were so easy to use with excellent healing. I would highly recommend them

These are amazing for really bad cuts and I'm so happy I had them when I cut myself the last time. It was very easy to close up the wound. You should definitely have these in your first aid kit around the home

My husband works in the trades and comes home with gashes and cuts all the time. These are quite literally life saving. Especially on a job site! Will always stash some of these in his work truck.

I am very clumsy and cut myself all the time, sometimes without even realizing it until later. Half the time I just slap a simple ban-aid on the cut, and the other half the time I don't even bother. So over the years, I've collected a lot of small scars on my hands from cuts that healed quickly but messily. I got these butterfly band-aids to see if I can cut down on the number of scars. Like any band-aids, these keep the wound clean and protected. But unlike other band-aids, they let you pull the edges of the cut together, so when the cut heals, there is no scar! I love the little whiskers that you have to pull to close the wound. It's a brilliant design. I am usually allergic to the glue in regular band-aids. I cut a little sliver off one of these butterfly band-aids and stuck it on my skin, and so far I haven't had a reaction. There has been no redness or itching, during or after use. That's definitely a huge plus for me, since the band-aids can cause more trouble than the wound on which I'm using the band-aids. I don't know how they will hold up over a longer time, but this is definitely a good sign.

These wound closure strips are very easy to apply, and they’re very effective at keeping a deep wound closed. This is an excellent addition to any first aid kit. I hoped to never have to use these, but ended up using one this past weekend as I gashed my forehead open on a rock. After cleaning the wound, which would not stop bleeding, I applied one of these, and because it pulled the edges of the wound together, the bleeding stopped much more quickly than it would have with a regular bandaid. I’ve been careful not to get it too wet, but it’s done a great job of keeping my gash clean and dry, and I can see that it’s started to heal nicely. Excellent product – highly recommended.
