Good and bad but may be down to user!
Pleased but print always a little wobbly on the first page. Can’t fathom out how to fix it. Uses quite a lot of ink in my opinion. Looks good though in my home office. Being able to print whe sat on a different floor in the house is impressive!

Can’t think about one thing I wouldn’t like about this printer
I first saw this printer in a physical store and it captivated me with its design. Because let’s be honest - most printers are horrible looking. Not this one! It’s pretty lightweight (compared to the old one I had) and easy to setup. I remember seeing a review about how hard it was to set up and it’s just so not true! You just download an app and follow the instructions (that come with illustrations). Had mine set up in ~10 minutes. I was also impressed with printing quality. The colours were beautiful and it left no marks or unprinted strips like some printers do. I knew I was getting a cheap printer and that’s all I wanted - something that just prints and scans. And I really wasn’t expecting much for £39. But I must say I’m impressed. This printer is more than enough and I honestly can’t think about 1 thing I wouldn’t like about it.

Doesn’t print on A4 photo paper
This printer arrived when expected and looks good. It took me a long time to set it up and connect to WiFi etc. (compared to my previous HP printer). I didn’t find the app as easy to use in my iPhone as the HP and it didn’t have as many options for printing. The ink cartridges cost as much as the printer! I printed off A4 documents ok, but next time I can to use the printer it was off line and I couldn’t get it to reconnect. Eventually, I contacted Canon and their on line technical person got me trying various combinations of buttons and instructions and finally it was reconnected. I printed off 50 5 x 7 photos ok, but had to find a resizing app on line to get my photos to fit the paper. When I came to print an A4 photo of one of my paintings I spent hours trying to print it. I put new ink cartridges in, but kept getting an error code. I looked up the error code and it meant my settings were wrong. I checked and rechecked my settings, but they were fine. After much frustration I got onto the online technical advisor at Cannon who after a few minutes told me that my printer simply didn’t print A4 photos!! I was most annoyed and disappointed. I immediately looked to buy an HP printer. I checked before purchasing by speaking to someone at HP that it did print A4 photos and it does, so I am awaiting its arrival. I am selling the 2 month old cannon with new cartridges for half price to my friend who just wants to print documents.

Excellent setup
I got this for my mum and dad as a gift at Christmas, they set it up with no problems and my mum isn't exactly great with technology. It's very compact and prints amazingly easy from a mobile phone over wifi. If you are elderly and worried about setting up a printer, I can certainly recommend this to you.

Have tried to use on several occasions. It just robs you of your calmness and time. It take away the time that you are supposed to be working.
