Not your Hippie's version. A light balanced patchouli not too overpowering and generous bottle.
Patchouli at its finest. I love this for my body, my diffuser and most importantly added to my shampoo - just a drop or two.

Peeyooh!
Smells like rubber tires burning at the sewer plant. Perhaps the stuff can go rancid? If so, my particular purchase was rancid. It smells nothing like it ought to. Zero stars.

Patchouli oil
The liquid is ok for a diffuser but it has a chemical smell to it from whatever is used as an additive to dillute the patchouli oil. You can smell the patchouli scent but whatever chemical is used with the patchouli oil is also a smell you can smell when using

My favorite aroma of all time. Large bottle
Ah, patchouli! 🌿 That’s a fragrance note that has quite the intriguing history and a scent profile that’s both distinctive and versatile. Let’s dive into the aromatic world of patchouli, shall we? What Does Patchouli Smell Like? Patchouli is like that mysterious character in a novel—earthy, spicy, and slightly sweet, creating a musky, woody aroma that’s distinctively rich. It’s the kind of scent that evokes different feelings, depending on individual preferences: Exotic Richness: Some people find patchouli exotic and luxurious. It’s like wandering through an ancient spice market, surrounded by incense and mysterious treasures. Herbal and Musty: Others might describe it as herbal or even slightly musty. Imagine walking through a dense forest where the earthy scent of fallen leaves mingles with damp soil. Potent Essential Oil: In its essential oil form, patchouli is particularly potent. A little goes a long way! Perfumers often use it as a base note because of its endurance and depth. A Whiff of History: From Ancient China to Flower Children Patchouli has quite the journey through time: Ancient China: By the 5th century AD, patchouli was cultivated in China and used in Indian Ayurvedic medicine. It was valued for its health benefits—a true herbal superstar. Victorian England: In the 19th century, patchouli became fashionable and associated with wealth. It was used as an insect repellent to protect valuable oriental fabrics. Imagine Victorian ladies dabbing it on their lace collars! Counterculture Movement: Fast-forward to the 1960s and 70s—the era of flower children, tie-dye, and free spirits. Patchouli was their favorite fragrance. Its earthy scent symbolized non-conformity and rebellion. Plus, rumor has it that it masked the scent of other things, like—you know—herbs and spirits. 😉 So, whether you’re a bohemian soul or simply appreciate a unique scent, patchouli has a place in the olfactory hall of fame. And there you have it—a fragrant snippet about patchouli! If you ever want to explore perfumes or scented candles with patchouli notes, you’re in for a treat.

Warning: Instantly clogs my diffuser. Even two drops. Great as long as you are not diffusing!
This product seems to be a great deal for the amount of "Patchouli"or whatever it is per ounce etc However I have been using these same three diffusers for years and within a day of adding this product all three basically stopped working. I first added several drops each 3-4 drops. Clogged it up. Okay. Cleaned them all and put my other regular very expensive patchouli oil back in and fired it up. Smoke signals once again with my other product. Put this back in and only two drops and within a day same story. No bueno. So long story short, buyer beware if you are trying this long term in a diffuser. Works great first time. After that even a drop or two clogs up everything for me and I've been doing this daily for years with other products.
