Very handy for my 12 year old that loves ravioli. Remove metal lid and put on red lid with holes. Microwave 1 minute. Be very careful removing from microwave. Extremely HOT and lid not very sturdy. I put the microwaveable container inside another bowl. I guess you could out it in a deep bowl with covered with saran wrap so it doesn't bubble over your microwave. Handy for kids lunches when you put heated ravioli in a thermos. Also I you can sprinkle parmesan cheese on it.
