This play food is hard plastic which is holding up very well. The velcro is strong and we’ve had no issues with it losing its grip. The knives that come with it are plastic are of no safety concern. The knives work very well cutting through the velcro which can help to develope future cutting skills.

This was a perfect gift for our 2 & 4 year old. The food was very colorful and realistic looking - perfect for their play kitchen set. I would highly recommend this item.

This is a must have and great for imagination play! Great price, great quality, and great durability. Easy & fun play. I now wish I would’ve purchased the set with the two baskets. I still may do that and just have duplicates of some food items.

Product was smaller than expected but turns out to be perfect for little hands.

I bought these for my 16 month old son. I love how the banana peels, the corn husks too. Only down sides are the Velcro is almost too strong and the knife isn’t that sturdy. But he enjoys playing with these and they seem good quality. Nice to have veggies to learn versus junk food.

My 2 year old son LOVES playing with the cutting play food toys, as he is very interested in cooking. There are a wide variety of fruits, veggies and other peices for him to play with. This purchase has been a good value. The toys have been durable so far, but I do expect the velcro to wear out over time. Thank you.

The cutting food toy has a nice design and good finishing. Although I expected the plastic to be a bit sturdier and more solid, it still feels safe and smooth to the touch. The Velcro pieces hold well, maybe even a little too well at first — it was a bit hard to “cut,” especially the avocado. There’s also no specific space to place the knife, which would’ve been a nice touch. Still, the child had a lot of fun playing with it and practicing pretend cutting, so overall it’s a fun and engaging toy!
