Ups the bass clean. Noticeably fuller sound. Not over powering and it’s not supposed to be.

Works and sounds as described. Works with high line voltage. Turns on automatically when activated by speaker activity. Wired into 2024 bmw i4. Great addition to stock “hi-fi” premium audio car came with and probably sounds similar to the branded $$ stock subwoofer system with 8” sub. Little Sub “Tied the whole room together”…

After spending hours trying to test this amp and sub, it did not function on the high input lines. I thought this is definitely going to have to be returned and I would lose out on the deal price of $116 and have to pay $146. I boxed it all back up when I found a 1/8 phono jack to RCA cable. So I tested that... I hooked up an old phone to this device. I heard audio pops when I connected the RCA connections to the powered up amp... this was a good sign. However my phono port on my old phone has some amplification and the RCA connections are a low wattage input. So, I am not sure how this is going to sound with a connection like this. This should have been able to connect the high input without an issue. Setup was easy, and only took a few minutes on my test bench. As you can see in the video, this definitely needs bolted down to not bounce around, to make it sound like it should. BTW it does sounds way better IRL. Blame it on my phones mic, if is sounds like crap. I noticed the branding badge to be off center and obviously the high input should also have worked without fail, making me question the quality that was put into the manufacturing. I cannot give this a high quality review that Blaupunkt used to be known for... Makes me wonder 🤔 if it is just another good brand-name that was sold their name to other companies that produce cheap garbage. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I sure hope not. I hope this last for the money I paid. 🤞🏻

impressive little speaker with lots of quality sound but what else would you expect from germany's finest audio .. the only problem I've found with it is the 8 pin plug came broken .. seems rather cheaply made considering the makers ...

This slimline sub fits nicely under my RV drivers seat and fills out the lower frequency range. If you expect deep bass that your neighbours will hear then this is not the right fit but for it’s intended use it does the job and even though Blaupunkt is not what it used to be I think the quality is still there. I do have to watch the volume on heavy bass tracks (I listen to all sorts of music) as it will sometimes over drive it but the remote volume can be put in an easy accessible area and I just turn it down a bit.
