Edge of Straps not stitched in

My daughter found it was a bit too small however after several wears I think it became comfortable for her. The ends of the straps were not sew n in so I had to get my seamstress to stitch it in right before she used it. This was not clearly stated in the description. But otherwise once the strap was remedied and the shoes loosened a bit.....I was happy with this purchase
