Awesome unit for the price

Well, this unit is garbage in 1yr 2 mo. I have sent a request for help from the manufacturer, and they replied and asked for data that I actually already gave them, so I replied with the information. They say over 1 year, so they can do nothing but advise repair. The unit freezes up in less than 12 hours and begins to frost in less than an hour. DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT. They do not stand behind it. I used it in a heated garage, and the temperature range was from 50 to 65 degrees in the winter. I had a consumer unit for almost 10 years before it failed, and it was half the price! This unit, for the price and its information before sale, should last 5 years easily. This makes it very difficult to purchase higher-priced items from Amazon when these manufacturers are selling this junk! I have not heard from them in over a week now.

We had an old upright dehumidifier in our basement and the bin had to be emptied once every couple of days. Kind of a chore to do so often. This Creworks unit caught my eye because it looked like a great unit for the price. It arrived quickly and setup was a breeze. The unit DOES come with the ceiling hang brackets that install on the bottom. I originally intended to hang it, but got squeamish about the weight and built a sturdy rack to position it just above the wastewater pipe for the clothes washer. Once the rack was built, setting up the unit itself took hardly 15/20 mins tops. Put on the feet, run the discharge tube, plug it in and GO! I had to face my unit toward the wall to have the discharge go to the left, so it was incredibly handy that I could remove the touchscreen and simply mount it on the front of the rack. Love that versatility. Unit has been running for the week and is super quiet. I am very happy with this purchase so far! Will try to edit my review in a few months with overall use report.

This dehumidifier works great and is exactly what I was looking for. Much more effective than the standup units with tanks that I've used in the past. And because of the duct option you can tuck it away somewhere and not have it sit in the middle of the room. I put it under my basement steps which is fully open on one side of the room and ducted it out through the wall into the other side of the room. I set it to 55 and I have a thermometer in the middle of the room which quickly showed the humidity at 55 where it sits with very little fluctuation. I had an issue with a damaged part in shipping which was quite a delay. The display unit was damaged from the bag of parts crashing into it forcefully. The company was very responsive albeit slow but after sending them pictures and some info, they sent me a new display. Communication with them was slow as a day passed between responses but they were very sympathetic and responsive. I hate reviews where people give one star due to a product damaged during shipping, it skews the results. I didn't enjoy dealing with the problem and I removed a star because I think improvement is needed in the packaging procedure but this unit is great!

Been using for weeks now, so far so good. Quality workmanship, very well made. Have it set in my hallway and it makes about 5 gallons of water a day set to 54%. You can feel the comfort now, even with ac set to 85 feels cool inside house. The air coming out is not as hot as I expected, my Sears portable dehumidifier would heat the room up, not this one. I will permanently install eventually but for now I have on a stand (ice chest) draining into bucket. at first had set to 45% and it ran constantly for days, now at 54% it cycles on/off and maintains humidity perfectly.

Bought this unit because I'm tired of the normal dehumidifier dropping dead after first year. So far so good. Working well. Great water drainage. Very quiet. Put in basement. Although only had for a week. Would recommend.

Purchased this unit last November 2024 and it stopped working in September 2025. Filled out a warranty claim with company through Amazon and never received a reply from Creworks. Amazon sent me a survey asking how the company responded and replied they haven't.
