3D is great with proper glasses
As I already had a pico projector with same ANSI rating I had a fair idea on what to expect. I was not disappointed. I purchased this projector for its 3D capability. My older LG 3D TV is starting to have screen defects. Since 3D is no longer a "thing" there was little hope in getting a new TV to view my 3D library. Enter projectors, some of which have 3D capability. I sympathize with those wanting this capability only to find out it does not work with a 3D disc player. The more expensive 3D projectors generally do work with 3D discs. This one will work with 3D movies that are in the side by side or the top/bottom formats. Very hard to find. There is software out in the wild that will convert blueray 3D to side by side or top/bottom formats. I won't dwell on those. I do think the item description should spell that out. The built in help for this projector does, the printed instructions do not. I should also note that the 3D DLP glasses only synced when I was on the brightest level when the projection distance was 10 feet in a dark room. That could be an issue with the glasses I had or just that a bright picture would be required with any glasses. I liked my "Real 3D" glasses that LG used, same as in theaters. The battery life seems good. I was able to watch a 3D move that was 1 hour 40 minutes long with picture set at brightest level. The battery indicated there was still about 33% of battery life remaining after the movie. This is a plus, my other projector battery dies after about 1-1/2 hours with brightness as lowest level. Of course it is about 1/4 the size so smaller battery. We like to watch a movie sometimes from bed with ceiling projection. That can be done with this projector but not easily. The provided tripod will tip due to the weight unless it is positioned perfectly over one of tripod legs. My older and smaller projector I can just sit on the night stand pointing up, no tripod needed. The automatic focus works great most of the time. Again at the 10 foot level I had to touch it up with the focus adjust. Another plus over my older projector was the remote. A definite improvement. I find the remote much easier to use than the touch pad. That was true of both projectors. The 200 ANSI seems brighter on this projector, a definite plus.Speakers provide plenty of volume unlike the smaller projector. I used portable blue tooth speakers to improve its sound, not necessary with this one.The updated Android TV was good. Version 9 vs version 7, 2GB vs 1 GB RAM and 32Gb vs 8Gb storage coupled with faster CPU make things run smoother. I couldn't find a 3D mini projector with Android 11 TV so settled on this one.I saw one review talking about DLNA not working. I have a DLNA server and neither projector has any problems connecting and serving up the movies.Bottom line, for $150 projector it does the job as expected. These projectors are meant for darkened room or night time viewing outdoors. If you accept that before you purchase you will be happy.

It’s small and easy to carry, and the touchpad on top makes it simple to control without a remote
I recently used the Mini DLP Projector and was really impressed with picture quality that is clear and bright, even in a room with some light, thanks to its 200 ANSI brightness. The autofocus works quickly, and the sound from the built-in 10W speaker is surprisingly loud and clear. With Android 9.0, I could easily install apps and stream directly, no need for extra devices.

Garbage
I tried to get two of these to work. Neither did.If you're thinking of buying this one because it claims to be able to project 3D movies. Don't. All it projects is an error message saying the display is not 3D compatibile. I tested on two different devices, an LG 3D Blu Ray player, which errors out on this and plays just fine, same cable, same movie, on a 3D TV, and a PlayStation 4, which again, errors out on this, but works just fine on the 3D TV. I tried multiple disks just in case that was the issue. I tried the various options in the 3D menu. None of them worked. If you're thinking of buying this because it's supposed to support on board apps, well it depends on the apps you want.Netflix works, but let's be honest, Netflix works on everything. It's a technology weed. No matter what environment you put it in, it's just fine.Amazon Prime Video works, but pretty much same deal.Vudu is hit or miss, and this goes back to the bit about this isn't a 3D projector. The 3D stuff doesn't even try to play. No error message. It just ignores the play click. Some non 3D movies play, but only if you ignore the installed version of the app, go into the Google Play store (not the device's specific app store) and install that. The one from the device's app store, just gives error messages.Hulu just gives error messages. No workaround I could find other than to plug in a streaming stick. I went with Roku. That will work with this.Disney+ asks for an update and then does nothing but spit out an error message. Again, resorting to a, streaming stick is the only viable workaround.Max, well same as Disney+ and Hulu.YouTube, which given this is Android-based really should work...sort of does when it's not crashing. Going with an external streaming device is, again, your best option.DLNA, there is a menu option for it. It doesn't connect to anything. It doesn't stream anything. It doesn't even provide a list of files. It just shows a menu option.Unless you really like error messages, this is a total waste of time and money.

Great mini projector
The media could not be loaded. I have a traditional projector for movie night with my kids. But it’s big and heavy. So I bought this mini one and tried it out. So far I am very happy with it. First, it’s small and light and the size is just similar to my kid’s bottle. I can throw it into my bag and project a YouTube video for my kids when traveling. Second, I can connect it to my iPhone and project my photos and videos during parties. It’s very easy to do that, and you only need to download their app and connect it to WiFi. Third, I like its auto-focus feature a lot. I don’t have to worry about adjusting the projection by myself. It will automatically focused quickly. The image and audio are surprisingly good. My only complaint is the instruction book is not very helpful. But it has a more specific manual which you can scan after turn it on.
