Electric Log Splitter
I recently purchased the PROYAMA Electric Log Splitter 6.5 Ton, and I couldn't be more impressed with its performance. As someone who splits a lot of firewood during the colder months, I needed a reliable, efficient tool to make the job easier - and this log splitter certainly Ease of Use: Right out of the box, the setup was incredibly straightforward. The instructions were clear, and I was up and running in no time. It's very user-friendly and doesn't require any complicated assembly. The controls are simple and easy to operate, making it accessible for anyone to use. Powerful Performance: Don't let its compact size fool you! This 6.5-ton splitter has more than enough power to handle even tougher logs. I've split a variety of hardwoods, and it went through them effortlessly. It provides consistent force, and the logs split with minimal effort, saving me both time and energy. Electric Convenience: I love that it's electric—no more dealing with gas, oil, or fumes. Just plug it in, and you're ready to go! The motor runs quietly compared to gas-powered models, which is a nice bonus, especially if you're working in a residential area or don't want to disturb the neighbors. Sturdy and Safe: The build quality is solid, and it feels very sturdy. The safety features give me peace of mind while operating it. The two-handed operation ensures that my hands are always away from the splitting area, making it very safe to use. Portability: The design is compact yet robust, and the wheels make it easy to move around my yard. It's not too heavy to maneuver, which is perfect for me since I need to move it between different areas to work. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the Electric Log Splitter. It has made splitting firewood a breeze and has exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a reliable, powerful, and easy-to-use log splitter, this is the one to get!

Does an excellent job and is easy to use.
This splitter is freaking amazing. Logs I could hardly dent with my axe. And this splitter goes through them like butter. 12 inch logs quartered in a minute. If it lasts it is definitely an absolute winner. No more back strain. It is heavy-duty but easily moved with the wheels and handle.

Great for the price
It has done a great job splitting firewood. I've split fresh cut cedar with knots and it got it done. Handled seasoned oak like a champ. It is an electric splitter, so it can't do what 10 ton gas splitters can do, but it does great for electric. It handled 13" across. But the only thing that's not good, is the 4way splitter head. It did not work well. But worth the price and time.

No Nonsense Splitter
Used to split up green cherry 2/3rds of a cord. Overall not bad for home owner use. Knots and tougher pieces seemed to split just fine. Machine stopped a few times on a few pieces that were gnarly but flipping them and knowing how to follow the grain of wood they split. Wood does slip around a bit for pieces not cut flat. It's a two handed operation machine, no a clamp doesn't work. Not a big deal if you take your time and line up the wood against the splitter not the ram. Remember to open and close the air bleed knob. Motor was not too loud when using. Packaging was good however the wheel on one side was bent, more than likely in shipping. Wheels are not meant for anything other than hard surfaces. You cannot stand this unit on its end for storage as the ram lever is on that end. Overall good purchase long as it lasts. Time will tell.

Proyama Log Splitter 6.5 Ton, Wood Splitter Electric Powered 15Amp, with Hydraulic Ram, Electric Firewood Splitting Machine, Horizontal I bought the Proyama Log Splitter on January 27, 2024 because, at 77 years old, hand spitting logs at my cabin was getting tiring and dangerous. This unit arrived on time and extremely well packaged. I thought there was going to be some assembly required but the unit was all assembled. I carefully maneuvered it out the back of my house and tried it out. This unit weighs just under 110 lbs. so one has to be careful when moving it. I split a couple of small logs (7” wide and 10” long). Effortless! But I was not liking the fact that you had to hold done the hydraulic lever at the rear of the splitter then press and hold the start button. All this puts one possibly in harm’s way. But that is my opinion only. It would be too much of a hassle to return this 108 lb. splitter so I decided to keep it and redesign it. I needed to get this onto my boat (1st problem) then wrestle all 108 lbs. off the boat and onto the dock (2nd problem) and then somehow get this thing up 42 stairs to where it was going to live (3rd problem). So I decided to forgo the warrantee and open it up. Somewhat. I removed the hydraulic motor (after draining the 3.5 l of oil) removed the control box and took out the switch. I then added a 5ft. section of flexible electrical conduit with wires in it that matched to gauge of the existing wires. I now had made the button remote and can be pressed from 5 ft. away. For the hydraulic level, I put a 3 ft. ridged plastic conduit pipe over it. I then, with the aid of the mechanical diagram (very well displayed), I started removing bits and pieces until the main ram unit was weighing approximately 60 lbs. or so. That I could handle! This last weekend I took all of it to my cabin, re-assembled it and added the oil. I test ran it a couple of times then retightened all the bolts and rechecked the oil level. Time for main test. This unit operated flawlessly and I felt extremely safe. This is a sweet splitter! Couykld not be more happy with the purchase. Worth every dollar! Some of my neighbours were very impressed with the actionbs of it especially when splitting large heavely knotted logs. Worked flawlessly! I am not advising that people do this to their units as this could be very dangerous. I have a background in medium mechanics and hydraulics.

I use firewood in my wood stove for most of my heating needs. I buy slab wood from a local sawmill and some of the pieces are really big to handle and/or fit into the woodstove. I needed a log splitter to help me with these pieces. I am 80 years old and not as strong as I used to be. I have been using this splitter now for three months and it works perfectly. It was easy to set up and operate. I can use it indoors at my woodshed during winter without fumes from the large gas-powered splitter that I need for the really huge and knotty logs so I have a steady source of kindling and easy-to-burn smaller pieces. I can very highly recommend it to anyone with similar needs.

This is great. We harvest our own wood and supplement it with locally purchased wood for our wood stove that heats our home in a Canadian winter . It has the power to do the job and kindling shortages will never be a problem again . The bonus is we can downsize logs more and make kindling in the warmth of the indoors because it is electric and small . I have no regrets.

I have a cut about one face cord of firewood with it. For me this machine that's exactly the job I want it to do, which is cutting branches and larger limbs. They are a pain in the rear to cut with an ax. The big pieces I prefer to do by hand , and by big I mean everything over 8 in. The machine itself feels solid and very well built . It was a joy to work with it. Thanks God I read the manual, because it's an absolute must, that you open the air bleeder , before you start cutting, every time. So I will attach a label for myself, so that I don't forget in the future to do this. The machine weighs about a hundred pounds. I operate my splitter in the bucket of my tractor. If I would not be able to do this, I definitely would want to buy this machine with its stand. I expect the splitter to last a very long time , with proper maintenance and handling. It also should be sad, that this is splitter requires a proper extension cord to deliver its power without popping a breaker. I run my splitter of a 35 ft, extra-extra thick extension cord. I have absolutely no problems.
