Love it. Its comfortable, charge lasts all day, great sound quality, detachable mic, and it's cute! If I had any complaints it would be that it turns off when you plug it in to charge and you have to turn it back on if you're using it while it's charging.

I was really suspicious of these because I see them all over Instagram so I thought that it was gonna be a poor product. I’m so happy I got these. They’re absolutely adorable and they work really well. The sound quality is amazing and the microphone works great. I love the fact that it has a wireless or plug-in option so you don’t have to worry about the battery dying on the headset. You can just plug it into the controller and it still works. There’s only two minor things I would say I was not 100% happy about. The first one is that when I wanna turn the light off of the headset on the app, I have to do it twice. So I have to press the light off button. Wait a couple seconds and then the light on the headset comes back on again and then I have to turn it off. But after that it’ll stay Off. It’s not enough for me to wanna return the product. The second minor thing was in the beginning was that they’re super tight the very first time you wear them maybe the first two times. So you just gotta wear them a couple times or at least a long period of time and they stretch out and they’re really comfortable after that.

PROS: - it’s cute lol - customizable lighting (it’s bright and you can’t adjust brightness but it can turn off) - options for audio settings (the YOWU app offers audio settings depending on what you’re using the headphones for like; gaming or music) - everything you need for charging and connecting the headphones to a device is in the box - comfortable for the most part and sturdy/snug (definitely not going to slide or fall of your head) CONS (sort of): - stuttering audio (the issue resolved after a couple days but it’s something to note of) - the fit is a bit too snug. One of the top of my ears touches the inside of the cup which isn’t too bad until after hours of usage when it’s a bit sore :( OVERALL THOUGHTS: it’s lovely (￣▽￣) I just really like the aesthetic and the audio quality is good too. It’s not amazing and not bad - it’s just good. The build is smooth and sturdy. I was worried about it being a cheaper plastic but was pleasantly surprised. However, the lines of each individual piece are a bit obvious but it’s not really bad and it doesn’t ruin the aesthetic. The headphones are weighted and snug, which obviously may be a pro or con depending on the person. I don’t feel like my neck is sore from the weight and I also appreciate the snugness so I don’t have to worry about the headphones slipping or flying off my head because they cost so much. Also, someone mentioned DUAL AUDIO being an issue but it’s not an issue for me. For some reason they couldn’t play audio in one program and listed to audio on another at the same time which never happened to me. I’m able to have audio in my video game and have a voice call on Discord just fine.

It was great for the first day. Looks great, love the lights, but I had some problems hearing. I had to keep turning on the headset because it would shut off even when charged. Now it has charging problems. Bluetooth pairing never shuts off. Mic isn’t picking up my voice. I can not turn it on or off at all anymore. RGB completely doesn’t work. Do not buy because online they state they can not help you repair unless you are in china. There is no phone number. I lost out on $160 due to this. I’m very upset. Horrible.

(The static is one of the biggest- see AUDIO) ———————————— 2 FEELING ★★★★★ The headphones feel heavy at first when you get new headphones or aren’t used to heavy headphones, but after 2 days I’ve gotten used to them and they don’t really feel like anything anymore. Please note that these headphones are able to be extended, so make sure to stretch them out to fit your head. My head is a little smaller than average so I don’t need to stretch them out completely. I chew gum a lot, can’t chew gum while wearing these headphones. It hurts. ———————————— 3 VISUALS, FEATURES ★★★★★ Amazing. They look adorable and the different RGB settings are one of my personal favorite features that make these even better. Nothing wrong here, at all. They’re beautiful headphones, and when it comes to cat ear headphones, these are the best on the market. It matches my aesthetic perfectly. When I tell you they look even better in real life than on camera, I mean it. I love these. The headphones themselves have color selection buttons which function just like the app, so I don’t need the app fortunately so that makes me happy! +1 for that, didn’t even know that was something that came with the headphones! Make sure to follow the instructions to properly use the color changers. ———————————— 4 AUDIO ★★★★☆ Like I said before, Co-op gaming is a big NO. However when it comes to singular audio and music? It’s amazing. Try to have your audio on 50% or more when listening to avoid the odd static noise though… I don’t understand why the static is there, but it’s something that your brain will eventually tune out. If you don’t think your brain will tune the static out, make sure to check the return policy and try it out, then return it if you have trouble tuning out. But the bass and spatial sound are amazing- the static doesn’t bother me unless my volume is low. Also I don’t get that static sound when I’m using my Nintendo Switch for some reason. ———————————— 5 GAMING ★★☆☆☆ If you’re playing solo, it’s amazing, since you only need one audio source. Co-op? Can’t do two audios at once (i.e. using Discord while playing a game with friends) without both audios sounding like the static on the radio. Extremely disappointing. There was a point where I wanted the Razer Kraken Kitty ($150) but I’m glad that I got these instead. I have the regular Razer Kraken Headphones, Which are $80 (I had gotten them on sale for $50) and I’ve heard from countless reviews that the Kitty is the same as the regular Kraken, just with added visuals. Comparing these YOWU 4 Headphones, these are overall better, just not for gaming. (See AUDIO above for more detail)

I LOVE THEM! I was afraid to buy them at first because I wasn’t sure if they would be worth it but trust me they are. It has different color settings which you can manage on your phone or manually. It’s has different LED settings. Very comfortable on your ears and great sound. I’d definitely buy again.

10 month update and troubleshooting. I want to update my review because I really love these headphones. The only issues I have run into with the headphones which has been present since day 1 is the MUST be using the ‘gaming’ sound profile in the Yowu app when they are powered off otherwise when they are turned back on again they are very quiet. Switching them back to gaming and turning them off and on again fixes the issue. Secondly (this might be my own fault) the headphones MUST be VERY close to the dongle when powering on or this will result in a connection issue which results in low volume like the previously mentioned issue and requires them to be turned off and on again. I don’t have this problem with Bluetooth, only with the dongle and there’s a lot of interference around me with different broadband devices nearby that could be interfering with it. I have issues with other devices connections nearby also so I don’t fault the headphones for this but I think it’s important to include if anyone else experiences this same issue. Now onto the updated review. It’s been 10 months. I still use them nearly every day for multiple hours per day. I have experienced none of the issues reported by negative reviews. The mic quality is very good. I have used it on Discord on both blue tooth and the dongle and been told it’s very clear. There’s been no wear and tear on the ear pads which has actually really surprised me because of how soft they are. I really feel like they’d be more fragile but they’ve held up very well. The battery is still as good as when I bought it. I’ve actually had a lot of difficulty trying to fully drain it but I did actually finally manage to drain them after about about a solid 8+ hours with the lights on at maximum volume. So the battery is very good. There’s been no issues with the build quality or the lights or anything else. I’m really not sure why these things get negative reviews, they VERY good quality. Original review: Out of the box they come with a hard shell case, Aux cable, USB-C charging cable, fast charger, detachable microphone and dual USB-C/USB 2.0 dongle. They pair quickly to Bluetooth and switching between input methods is easy and immediate. They have a very light weight smartphone app that allows custom or preset lighting and audio profiles. They're loud and have great frequency range with clear, deep, pounding bass and no clipping at max volume. They're extremely comfortable - I have a large head and ears and wore them for several hours with no signs of discomfort. The pads cup around your ears and rotate freely from the cans which stops them from causing any friction. These things are marketed towards women and women are small - I am neither of those things and they fit great. They have great audio cancellation and no leakage. I was unable to hear any external sounds. The only thing I would like to have seen with these is some kind of safety feature that can disable audio cancellation. The build quality is all plastic but very solid with no creaking. The fact that the cups rotate also helps prevent this. All of the controls are really simple and easy to use. Battery life seems quite good. I've yet to actually fully drain them despite wearing them for several hours at a time with the lights on. Everything about these things is really intuitively designed and as added bonus the cat ears serve as an easy indicator to never put them on backwards. They are better quality than the Monster and Sennheisers I've purchased over the past 10 years for the same price. All in all I really couldn't recommend these enough if you want some fun looking headphones that sound great. YOWU has earned itself a fan.

The audio is really bad and the mic is even worse. On top of that all when you want to return it you dont get all your money back. I would recommend to get another one because this one is not worth it.
