Cheaper than SPods but same functionality
I am not sure why you would pay so much more for SPods when these work just as good. Well implemented and decent instructions to help you get there. I have factory Aux switches in my truck and found these to work in an equivalent manner.Pros:You can set to auto shut-off if batt voltage gets too lowmake switched or always onAll on/off button for all switchesDimmable back lightingWiring comes complete for this with simple screw on connectors and rings as well as wire loom at proper measure lengths for the given application.Instructions provide decent directions for firewall passthrough if you review them well.Wire loom on positive connections.Cons:Switches are specific to this application. While it comes with plenty, not every label is a perfect fit and I don't know where to find more of them.Cutout for the JL makes the bolt on connection very weak and it bends as a resultCable to switches is pretty thick and requires trim removal and re-installation rather than snaking through. Firewall areas are also limited by the connector.Having to pick your color of LEDs by SKU is somewhat limiting given how cheap multicolored LEDs are now.Not sure why negative wire is not in wire loom together with positive wireNo bus bar for negative which is a minor inconvenience.I really have liked these and the flexibility they provide. They give 30A connections to each switched connection. It does say don't hook up a winch directly to it, because an 10000lb winch would fry it at full load, but you can use it to a larger relay to control the winch so I see why they include the connection. 30A does cause some limitation with other items as well such as Halogen lights as you are limited to pairs of 100W lights, but this is better than many of the competitor products and matches the high end in the market. The switches are plentiful and work well when lit up off/on. I am not sure where to find more, but other switches that look like them are NOT compatible. My largest complain as indicated earlier is where the device connects to the footmans loop in the center of the JK. It bends significantly when you connect it. This made me use the screws, double sided tape, and the screws around the footmans loop and they still bent a bit. This is the one thing I think could use improvement on this device. The vendor clearly has listened to the market over the years as many videos online show various generations where improvements have been made to the clasp, enclosure water tightness, and also to the wiring in general. I don't understand why they did not put the positive and negative inside the wire loom rather than keeping negative separate. It makes you have to put additional wire loom on or wrap it around the negative cable. The connectors appear to have been improved as well as water tight connections to the casing from previous generations.I almost purchased an additional one of these for the driver a pillar, but found out that the connection box under the hood needs to be in the same place. An expansion for those that like accessories would be a nice addition.Overall i am very happy with this and would purchase it again over many of the competitive products.

Quality product.
I get those die hard S-Pod folks out there. I could not see myself spending 400.00 on switch pods and I am glad I stumbled upon these. I was worried that the quality would not be there but the quality is excellent! The ONLY issue I have with these and that is one I can overcome myself is that the unit that goes under the hood is held on by two fender bolts only and so the unit does bounce a bit. But the unit is great quality! All metal construction with a real circuit board inside that looks of great quality. Out of curiosity I went on their website and even if that circuit board were to go bad which I am not expecting you can even buy a replacement for 35.00 which is epic. Don't get me wrong I understand the Research and Development on this type of item and so I get they can not give them away but for the price this unit is very nice as opposed to spending the 400.00 on an S-POD system. You get a few configuration options whether you want this to turn on via your accessory from your ignition or whether you want to turn it on by the touch switch (default) which BTW works very well. Even the dimming by holding the button works well. I was thoroughly impressed with the build quality of this device. I am a self proclaimed electronics engineer (yes went to school for it) but settled in an IT position for work and I have to say that this product was well thought out and executed. I could not be happier with my purchase other than I would like to have access to other switch covers. I purchased a few on Amazon hoping to just pop in but they are slightly different so the light does not shine through the same and the switches are a slightly different style but hard to tell except for the lighting. I needed a pretty standard one "Fog Lights" and a semi non standard "Whip Lights" so if anyone knows of a place to get some that match the ones in this product please let me know. The seller has yet to respond to my request. So for the technical portion now...The switch pod simply slides over the footman loop and while it does have some double sided tape you can secure the back of it to the overhead pillar you can also use the two screw holes to secure it with small screws for those hard core offroad guys. The wiring is simply. The switch pod itself has a single loom of wire that is a one connector connection to the overhead switch pod. Then you simply connect the large power and gound wires to your battery and the rest is simply relay contacts on a very well laid out circuit board. The numbering does go from the top down so pay attention to the silkscreen on the circuit board. One side note is you do not have to use the ground wiring on the circuit board. If you are wiring a device at the rear of your vehicle simply run a single power wire to the positive terminal on the relay box terminal and ground your device at the rear of your vehicle to a ground there instead of running two wires. If you have a ground sensitive device then you can run the ground and power wires together but the only terminal that the relay actually controls is the positive wire and the ground plane is all tied together on the circuit board. There is a "fuse" you can move and run a wire to your ignition accessory or if you only have lights hooked up to the switch you could hook it up to your dash lights and have it come on with your dash lights as well. This would be a strange case but is possible. One of the cool features is the automatic shut off below a certain voltage. I have not tested this yet but will with lab equipment to see that it does shut off and turn back on at the stated voltages which was again a really nice touch for this product. I could see this saving people who fall asleep with their camp lights on that are attached to this pod.I thought 8 switches would be overkill for me but turns out it was not. I am using each and ever one of the switches and honestly could use one more but it works exactly as expected and I am very happy with the purchase.Haters gonna hate of course. Those die hard S-POD guys will always bag on this product but coming from an electronics background I can assure you this device is built well and will last a long time. One thing I have not done but will do so this weekend and update this review is do some real world testing on how much power the switch pod draws with the unit on but no switches on. So basically the unit would be on and the lights would be lit (all LED lights) and see what the power draw is. My guess is it will be very low and if you left the switch pod on for days it would still not drain your battery. So this weekends todo list which I will report on in this review next week.Test the cut off voltage.Test the voltage that restores power to it.Test the power draw with the unit on but no switches in the on position. (So unit lit up only)My overall rating is 4 1/2 stars. Subtracting 1/4 for the lack of support in the engine bay which would most likely be just fine for most people anyway. Its not bad but could bounce under heavy offroading. 1/4 star for the lack of switch covers. Yes it comes with 15 but what about the ones it does not come with? Custom service or links to more switch plates compatible with this unit.My normal thought would be to round down to 4 stars but I just can't get myself to do that. It is a quality product and much higher quality then I expected to be honest. So before my weekend testing I am going to round up. Also if I do not get a response from the seller before I update my review next week after my testing even if the testing comes out as planned I will lower it to 4 stars (rounding down) from the lack of response from the seller about additional switch covers.

Awesome Auxiliary Switch
2014 JK Unlimited Sport (Instagram: @thosesexyassjeeps)Took a bit of a flyer ordering this aux switch bundle as I was not familiar with Voswitch. I really liked that there are 8 circuits/switches and that with the control unit located under the hood that you do not have to re-open dash panels to wire in new components.Installation was pretty simple and the single control wire was easy to route at the top of the windshield and down the driver side A-Pilar. Routing through the firewall was easy as the jeep is the automatic, our other jeep is a manual (and a couple years older) and in order to run the wire cleaning I ended up cuttings and then soldering the control wire.Other than that, the unit fits great and the buttons seem solid, the switch housing and control unit are quality made and look like they will last. Can't wait to add components!
