We purchased this for our grandson for his 4th birthday. He absolutely loves it and is able to use it perfectly well. There was a lot of excitement by him and by his birthday party guests when he opened it. It makes a great gift for the little ones. The trigger is easy to work and the balls shoot well, but not hard enough to do much damage. I will be sending for some extra ammunition balls for part of his Christmas! Great find.

I bought 3 of these. They work really well and shoot a nice distance. Lots of fun! They are a little to difficult for my 3 and 5 yr old grandchildren, we will put them away and try them again when they are a little older. Nice toy, lots of fun!!

Bought two guns for the kids for Christmas and they loved them. It doesn't take a lot of muscle to shoot them so it is great for younger kids. Some nerf guns are hard to cock and load but this is dead simple. No mechanisms to jam and break. I also got three more guns for my nieces and nephew. They don't have great distance on the shots but it is enough for playing in the house. I would say 18 ft would be a good long shot for a little kid. The balls are big enough that I don't think they would be a choking hazard for very small children.

Bought this for my husband and my kitty who likes to chase balls. These are small enough and light enough for her to pick up and carry in her mouth. They are bright enough to see when they end up under the furniture and you won't break an ankle stepping on them in the middle of the night. Also will shoot about 12 feet in distance so kitty gets a good workout! Highly recommend!

I bought this for my 1 cat who taught himself to play fetch. My shoulder began presenting with intense pain and I couldn't throw the ball well, so,I bought this. It works wonderfully and we have great fun. It comes with 12 balls, so, they'll last quite a while.

Seems to be of adequate quality construction but doesn't shoot very far, only 12', and usually shoots two balls at once. I thought my son would knock over cans or other targets but the aim too poor for anything small and the balls are too light for anything large. My son bored of it after only one day. On the bright side, the balls are so soft and light and the force at which they are expelled is such that no one is going to get hurt, even if they got popped in the eye. If several kids had the same toy and were shooting at each other it would probably be more fun than the target shooting I had intended it for.

So fun and easy to use for little kids that can't pump Nerf Guns by themselves. My 3 year old son and all his buds love this thing. My older kids and their friends love this popper as well. After getting one for a birthday we now own 6 for fun battles. The balls only hurt if you shoot someone point blank in the face and even then it isn't terrible since they are a dense foam. The only negative is that you will definetly want about 4 times the amount of balls. And those balls are really good at getting all over the house really fast.

Love this gun! Every year I find a "fun" adult toy for our work gift exchange. We had four of these and a battle ensued - everyone liked them better than Nerf guns. Also bought some for my son and his family and they had a Christmas Eve battle. Three-year-old children can work this gun. Lots of fun and teenagers love it, as well as adults and small children! I ended up buying 8 of these for gifts. Would highly recommend. I also bought some animal poppers and they were great, but these were better.
