Yes, thermal "putty" pads are included for CPU and RAM. A machined aluminum block attached to the top makes good contact with the pads.

Q: Are the antennae removable? Using a usb wifi adapter with its own antenna since the nvme slot is occupied by an ssd.

The Orange Pi 5 does not have an antenna. The Orange Pi 5b does not have an NVME. The case has separate slots for both but does not come with an antenna.
