Used as underlay under a patio pond... outcome = brilliant!
I bought these to lay as a barrier mat under a patio pond that has a liner inner. These mats are excellent quality easy to fit together and have a decent cushioning effect. They should also add an extra insulating layer during the winter months which will help my pond too. I can see that these mats could be very versatile for a wide range of different purposes. We are thinking of getting a portable foam sided hot tub at some point in the future and I will probably buy these mats again to put underneath as they are such good quality.

Perfect for My Summerhouse – Great Quality and Fantastic Customer Service!
I bought the Amonax Exercise Interlocking Floor Mats for my summerhouse, and they’ve been absolutely perfect. The EVA foam provides great cushioning and insulation, making the floor comfortable to walk on, and the interlocking design is easy to assemble and keeps the mats securely in place. The mats are versatile and durable, providing just the right amount of softness without feeling too spongy. They’ve really transformed the space, making it feel cosy while also protecting the floor underneath. Plus, they are easy to clean, which is a big plus for any outdoor or multi-use space. What really stood out for me was the excellent customer service. I had a quick question, and the Amonax team was incredibly helpful and responsive, addressing my concerns right away. Overall, I highly recommend these mats—not just for exercise but for creating a comfortable and practical flooring solution in any space. The quality and support from Amonax are top-notch!

Excellent
I only got these today, so I can't say how long they will last. However, they are very well made, so I'm sure they will last a long time. They fit together very easily and cut easily, too, if you need to get them round objects. I only have a small workout room, but it's big enough for my needs, so I ordered only 16 mats, and I still have one spare. You may wonder why I have to them down on top of a carpet, well they give more cushioning and reduce the noise of the weights when using them. These mats also give great support when doing a cardio workout on the step. To sum up they are pretty dam good.

Not just for the gym.
Can't praise these enough. Didn't buy these to use as gym mats. We have a small kitchen with no heating and its cold....very cold in the winter. The lino was tired, old, laid on bare concrete and bitter underfoot. Had the crazy idea of using these as flooring in the kitchen. So I did. Easy to fit, easy to cut. A bit of carpet tape here and there under them (tho they grip each other so well so not essential. Results, even in February can walk in the kitchen barefoot. The ambient air temp has risen by 8 degrees celcius...and an added bonus, drop a mug it bounces! (Oh and much cheaper than new lino), and I have spare tiles should one become damaged.

Used then under a sandpit
I bought them to go under a sand pit so that it wasn’t going directly on the grass. They look good and makes it soft for my son to sit on. They are good value for money. I bought two sets and made a small play area in my garden. They were very easy to fit together and great quality.

not suitable for heavy equipment
I bought this to use in a small bedroom converted into a gym with dumbbells and a bench but ended up replacing it soon after with proper heavy duty rubber gym mats. I regret purchasing these and should have sent them back but the return window had expired. Anyway below are some pros and cons. Pros: - Cheap - Comfortable to walk and kneel on - Adds a bit of warmth to the room - Comes with edge pieces - Easy to install - Easy to cut to size if needed - Easy to clean Cons: - Doesn't support heavy weight. Heavy equipment e.g. treadmills, exercise bike, bench legs, dumbbell rack will sink into the mat, leaving a permanent indent. - Interlocking mats eventually come apart in places, even if they look good initially. I first noticed this after a few weeks. - Not anti-slip as advertised. Wearing socks I had very little grip and was constantly sliding around. For comparison the rubber mats I replaced these with have significantly more grip. It's a night and day difference. - The foam mats are thick and soft so don't provide enough support or stability when performing certain exercises. It will affect your balance negatively. These mats were not the right choice for my situation. Anyone looking to build a quality home gym should probably avoid these and go for rubber mats instead. These are probably fine only for light exercise use, or in a kids play area.
