It mounts right on a 1/2 hp grinder and really removes some stock at the speed the grinder turns. The wheel seems well made with the diamond particles firmly attached. I can also use it for rough sharpening my knifes and chisels. I make custom knives and the handles are either wood, epoxy, bone/horn, or acrylic. This wheel can be used to square any of them. I can use a cork grinding belt cleaner to clean anything that sticks to the wheel.
