Excellent
This bucketseat is good, but not perfect. I agree with some reviewers that said the mounting brackets are not square -- definitely be aware of this when trying to mount to your sim rig. The seat itself is pretty comfortable. There's a decent enough amount of padding, but don't expect the same softness that comes with the more traditional seats. It does need some extra lumbar support, however. I haven't sat in it for prolonged periods of time so I can't say how warm it gets, but I imagine it will probably get a tad toasty given how "fitted" it is. For reference, I'm between 5'5-5'6" and ~160lbs. I bought the medium and I fit snugly. I intend on adding motion to my rig in the future, so I opted for a more snug fit to keep from sliding around. It's not so snug that it's uncomfortable, but there's no room on either side of my legs. If you want a more relaxed fit, I would opt for the large. Overall I'm pleased with this bucketseat, especially for the price. This seat is comfortable enough and is perfect for a sim racing rig. I highly recommend it.

Great seat!
The NRG bucket seat is amazing for what it costs! I was in need of replacing an older Sparco seat on my sim rig, but did not what to spend $500+. I saw the NRG seat that were available and here on Amazon, it was easily $100 cheaper than other stores. For $250 shipped, the seat came in about a week and I am super happy with it! Bolted right in to my 8040 aluminum sim rig with the included seat brackets. The seat is stiff (in a good way) and the cushions are very comfortable. I had to get an extra lumbar support cushion for it, but other than that, it is an awesome seat. I am 5’8” 165lbs with a 32 inch waist and the seat fits me perfectly. I highly recommend this bucket seat for sim racing and even in a regular car, as I’ve had multiple hour race sessions in it now and have no complaints.

Excellent value bucket seat! I use it in my racing simulator. Only downside is the brackets
In short, this seat is excellent, the brackets suck (but do work ok). I went with a size Large because I use it in a simulator and don't need lateral support under g-forces for obvious reasons. This makes sure it's comfortable for most sized users. I'm a 33 inch pant size, 185lb, 5' 9" male and find the large seat to be perfectly comfortable and it doesn't feel too big at all. I don't want a super cushy seat and I find the firm yet padded support to be perfect, easily do multi-hour sessions in this seat. Now for the side-mount brackets. There's nothing wrong with them except they don't actually fully work with this seat. The brackets have 3 forward and 3 rearward mounting holes and the lowest rearward mounting hole is not capable of aligning with the seat at all, might as well not be there. The issue is that to achieve proper posture for most race car seating positions you want quite a bit of recline, typically as much as 30 degrees or more at the seat. This paired with an upward tilted steering column and properly aligned pedals is key for long-term comfort, ergonomics, and consistency. With these brackets the most reclined position you can achieve is 17 degrees at the seat. Good enough for a road car and works ok in a sim rig but definitely not ideal at all. Since the brackets do work fine and do have decent adjustability for what I suspect most buyers will want I can comfortably recommend this seat, I love it and have no regrets!

Comfortable
I bought this seat specifically for my sim setup and i do not regret it one bit. The sizing is perfect for me (size large I wear a 36 and fits loosely snug if that makes sense) and fitment to the rig was easy. Much to my suprise it had seat sliders included which I did not use but definitely a nice surprise seeing as they could cost up to an extra 50 dollars if you were to buy them separately without knowing. The material is soft and plush and there is no flex under hard braking with a loadcell pedal. I would definitely recommend this to any sim racer looking for a nice seat. If the price is a little high the all black one is almost 100 dollars cheaper and will do the exact same job just with a little less flare

No More Back Pain!
Supports me at 6'1 with weight! very comfortable and snug. Upgraded to sim lab GT1-EVO cockpit with NRG FRP-301 from my NLR wheel stand and desk chair combo... What a difference! no more back pain.

Fantastic For Sim Racing
If you are looking for an excellent seat for sim racing, look no further. It mounts easily to 80/20 rigs and is very sturdy (one thing to note is that once the seat is mounted, you will not have access to the underside bolts for back-and-forth adjustment; you will have to remove the seat for adjustment). I initially had some lower back discomfort, but that went away after the first session. There is no adjustability on the seat itself in regard to lean angle.

Great value but rounds shoulders
It would have been perfect if not for the shoulders being to rounded, which makes it uncomfortable, especially in the neck. But if you fit in it, it has no flex, comfortable, and very good value. I’m 6’1 180lbs, not huge on shoulder but slightly larger than normal

They'll do
Happy with these seats. I got them to match the NRG alcantra steering wheel I just installed. The large fit my 6'5" 240lb frame. The phone pocket is pretty handle as well so my phone doesnt get tossed under hard acceleration.

Fit me well as a 200 lb guy and mounting bracket makes adjustment easy. Fits in tc6 corvette no problem

Contrary to what others have said these ARE authentic seats. They have recently separated Prisma into its own company which is why they now come with only the Prisma logo and not the NRG logo. Great seat for the price, I’m a bigger guy at 6’2 220lbs and it fits perfect.

Excellent value for a sim rig. I'd consider using it in my car now but I'm very impressed with the fit and finish

I replaced the GT Omega seat in my sim-racing rig with this NRG seat and I'm super impressed. It was really easy to install and the seat is really well made. Perhaps my only complaint is that the included brackets didn't allow me enough tilt angle and I still had to buy some from Trak Racer so that I could angle my seat back into a comfortable position (I'm doing a hybrid formula/GT3 seating position). Other than that minor quibble, it's a great seat. Highly recommended.
