This pen is pretty cool. My son struggles with reading and also wants to be independent. This pen will highlight the words and then read them aloud, pretty quickly after you highlight them. This is a pen that can fit in your pocket, and it is not small, unlike a typical pen that can be easily misplaced. However, it is small enough to fit in your pocket. We liked that it will also translate other languages. My son never charges things; he uses them until they die from lack of charging. So far, the battery is still going strong, and this was a Christmas gift. I would recommend!

I’ve been using the Scanmarker Pro to help with my Spanish studies, and it’s been great! The ability to instantly scan and translate text from Spanish to English (or vice versa) has made learning the language so much easier. I can scan text from books, articles, or even Spanish websites, and the translation pops up right away, helping me understand difficult phrases on the spot. It’s also great that the device reads the text aloud, so I can hear the correct pronunciation, which is a huge help for improving my speaking skills. If you're learning Spanish, the Scanmarker Pro is an excellent tool to have. It's user-friendly, accurate, and really speeds up the language learning process!

I cant say how thankful I am for this device. I have been looking for something to help my daughter learn to read, and when I saw this, I was skeptical. But thought it would break awesome. I ended up buying it and I am very impressed woth how well it works. It is very accurate and I think it will help with my daughter's learning.

This is a neat device, definitely high quality. Priced on the high side, there is no doubt the premium is related to the quality of the build in addition to the many features and functions this device boasts. Quickly and effortlessly will the scanning pen recognize text in almost any language you can scan - and translate it into your chosen language. I tried it on as many languages as I could find, and as near as I could tell it was accurate in it's translation. I tried it on large and small text, and as long as the text fit within the tip's plastic guide, the text was recognized. Connection to WiFi provides even more features. There is a minimal learning curve to get started, but after a little experimentation there is nothing to it. The menu is comprehensive and generally self explanatory. The battery life is more than enough to get you through a day - probably a week - unless you're using it for 8 hours a day. Battery power retention was very good. Leaving it off for 30 days came back with less than a 5% loss. Bottom line: In the right circumstance, (diminishing eyesight as an example) this could be a total game changer. For others this can just be a very useful tool when traveling or needing to translate.

Does not work as advertised

Being able to quickly scan text and get an instant translation or hear the words spoken aloud makes reading in a foreign language much less intimidating it’s incredibly accurate and saves me tons of time compared to trying to type everything into an app. 100% recommend!

Not the best for Chinese. Voice speaks too fast when reading in Chinese. Sometimes scan does not pick up the characters accurately. No pinyin when translating as well, nor tones. Hoping they have an update of software to improve Chinese language translation!!

Es un producto excelente. Consejo: hay que estar seguro de cual es tu propósito principal. Por ejemplo yo necesitaba que al escanear el texto, este pasara automáticamente al ordenador o móvil y traducido. Por eso al final elegí un Scanmarker Reader. Pero la ventaja de la versión Pro es que tienes una pantalla en donde lo ves todo ipso facto, lees lo que escaneas y te traduce sin necesidad de otro hardware. Son alucinantes estos chismes. Me gustaría destacar que aún más agradecida estoy con el servicio al cliente de la CIA de SCANMARKER. Ha estado por encima de cualquier buena espectativa en cuanto a la buena disposición, resolución y rapidez. Solicité su ayuda y rápidamente me han resuelto mis necesidades. También por parte del equipo de Amazon hicieron muy buen trabajo de guía y seguimiento. Solo me queda decir que además de unos productos excelente (Scanmarker Pro, Scanmarker Air o Scanmarker Reader), se puede contar con un servicio al cliente exquisito.

Great pen, far more user friendly than the name brand "C Pen" as this one is a touch screen. A few things to figure out with it, not hard, just takes time to learn all the functions because it does quite a bit. I was worried about not getting a name brand "C Pen", but glad we chose this one. Daughter has used it an entire semester now - great battery life, great quality

Éste bolígrafo traductor fué lo que escogió mi hijo como regalo de Navidades, está en su primer año como estudiante de grado de Traducción e interpretación y yo tenía mis dudas si cumpliría su funcióm o no y si le serviría para sus trabajos en la Universidad y tengo que reconocer que ha superado mis espectativas con creces. Se conecta mediante wifi y bluetooth. Tiene un audio excelente y es muy fácil de usar. Viene con cargador, auriculares y manual de instrucciones. Sin duda alguna es una herramienta de trabajo super útil.
