I use this moss in my moss poles for my climbing plants and they love it. Very easy to break the brick apart if you only need a little bit or alot! Very good quality sphagnum moss. Retains moisture well. My plants are super happy and healthy!

I use them in my plants I This is a good product The complaint I had is that there was some debris in it. The water retention is ok. My plants have done good on them.

Works perfectly well as a medium for my butterwort pings. There does seem to be some grass that is growing from it, but it’s easy enough to pull out. There were very few twigs and it was easy to reconstitute and mix with perlite!

Did not know exactly what this moss was for. But, I finished filling up a flower pot and , oh boy, it enlarged to overflow. I had to transfer some of the moss to another pot. Really keeps soil moist and looks attractive.

Beware, this moss is disgusting. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to return it within the return window, or I definitely would have. It has a bad smell right out of the package that gets even worse after getting it wet to expand/rehydrate it. There is a significant amount of chunks of dirt, debris, leaf parts and grass/straw that I spent forever picking out of the moss after rehydrating it. Despite using it the same way I've always used moss with no issues (moist, not wet), it grew disgusting fuzzy mold on it within about 48 hours. I proceeded to boil all of it, then soak it in vinegar hoping to kill the mold spores and still be able to use the moss. A week later, it hasn't molded again yet, however, it still smells gross, which is a problem since I use it indoors for houseplants. I won't be using any more of the package, as it's just not worth the hassle and the smell is too unpleasant anyways. I strongly recommend avoiding this product.

Ich benutze dieses Sphagnum-Moos schon eine ganze Weile und bin wirklich begeistert davon. Es war damals das erste Moos, das ich bestellt habe, und seitdem greife ich immer wieder darauf zurück. Die Qualität ist durchgehend sehr gut – das Material ist sauber, gleichmäßig und ohne unangenehmen Geruch. Es schimmelt nicht, auch nicht nach längerer Nutzung oder höherer Luftfeuchtigkeit, was bei anderen Produkten leider oft vorkommt. Besonders beeindruckend ist die enorme Saugkraft: Das Moos nimmt unglaublich viel Wasser auf und gibt die Feuchtigkeit langsam wieder ab. Für meine Pflanzen ist das perfekt, weil sie dadurch dauerhaft gleichmäßig versorgt sind, ohne dass Staunässe entsteht. Ich nutze es hauptsächlich für tropische Pflanzen und Stecklinge, aber auch in anderen Bereichen funktioniert es einwandfrei. Die Lieferung kam jedes Mal schnell und ordentlich verpackt an. Preislich ist es absolut fair – für die Qualität sogar eher günstig. Ich habe vorher auch Moos aus dem Baumarkt ausprobiert, aber das war weder so sauber noch so langlebig wie dieses hier. Insgesamt kann ich das Produkt nur empfehlen. Wer Wert auf zuverlässige Qualität legt und seinen Pflanzen etwas Gutes tun möchte, macht mit diesem Moos definitiv nichts falsch.

This sphagnum moss is excellent quality – long, clean fibres with a natural, earthy smell and no mouldy odour. It rehydrates quickly and holds moisture very well, making it ideal for orchids, carnivorous plants, and moss pole wrapping. The colour is a lovely light golden-brown with occasional green tones, and the 300g bag expands to a generous amount when soaked. I’ve seen noticeable improvement in root growth and plant health. A great choice for potting and decorative reptile habitats alike.
