Llevo un dia con el y estoy sorprendido con la cantidad de liquido que logra captar del aire.Lo compre dedido a que en estas epocas de lluvia en Toluca Edomex hay demasiada humedas y se nota en los armarios y cajas. Estoy maravillado y complacido de la compra adios a la humedad y hongos por la epoca de lluvias y la zona esta actualizando el comentario para comentar los cambios a largo plazo.De momento, mis familiares ya notan un cambio significativo en el aire y eso que lleva un par de horas en modo turbo.

Arrived damaged but works great. Lowered the humidity in our house from 60% to 43% overnight. Got rid of the moisture on our windows. Quieter than I was expecting.

Purchased from Amazon. It is large in size. It does take up a lot of floor space. I did register my Midea Dehumidifier MAD22C1AWS. The wheels make it very easy to maneuver. The fan is loud and it does eventually cycle off. I purchased the Midea Dehumidifier, June 2025. I accepted the noise from the fan. I did find a good spot to place it. It was working just great keeping my place with fresh cool air. The return date for Amazon ended in August. I would have graded it much better stars rating during those past 7 months. But NOW, December 6, 2025. I am frustrated with this product and Midea customer service as well. Seven months later!! The problem began with having to registered it several times. Because their system could not locate the other registrations. In order to continue I had to reregister it again each time to communicate. I tried the online ChatGPT many times it gave different methods of solutions. I contacted Midea support the 1st lady gave me a case number after trying many different things. She told me to call back another day. The 2nd lady also tried various ways to resolve the issue. She added information from our work to rectify the issue to my case number from the 1st lady. She said someone will contact me 24 to 48 hours. Here is the device problem, the filter light stays on solid green. It was not on and staying solid green during those earlier 7 months prior. I press the solid green filter button for 3 seconds and it turns off the device. Then it flashes “AP”. The filter has been cleaned/seated properly several times. There is no sensor button available. The device has been left unplugged for an entire day. Power/Filter pressed at same time. I can continue listing many things I have done to clear the system but nothing has change. I CANNOT recommend this product! Stay away from this device!! Hopefully in 24 to 48 hours I will get a better result. Thanks for reading. *Update 12-21-2025 No Responses!!

But let me issue a gentle PSA: This thing runs hot. Not “oh it’s a little warm near the vent” hot — I’m talking “am I roasting a Cornish hen under this?” levels of thermal output. If you’ve got a small room, especially one that’s already warm, just know you’re trading moisture for ambient heat. Plan your airflow accordingly or prepare to enter the Toasty Zone. Another tip: the built-in sensor does the job, but it’s very much a local reading. As in, “I’m doing great right here next to me” — even while the rest of the room still feels like a Florida swamp sauna. If you're serious about full-room monitoring, pair this with a secondary RH sensor placed farther away. You’ll get a much better picture of how your microclimate is really behaving. Still, even with those caveats? It’s absolutely excellent. ✅ Removes moisture quickly and efficiently ✅ Quiet enough not to disrupt your daily life ✅ Easy to clean, easy to move ✅ Doesn’t look like a haunted relic from a 2004 utility closet I’ve run this thing for weeks, and despite the space heater vibes, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. My windows no longer fog. My sheets no longer feel like they’ve been slow-cooked. My plants are confused, but I’m thriving. Highly recommended — just don’t put it next to your bed unless you enjoy waking up in a desert.

Other reviews say it's loud. Seriously, this thing is quieter than any other dehumidifier I've owned at this size. On high power it sounds like a fan in the house. This one was purchased for the basement so I dont have to listen to it anyway. I have 68% humidity in my house and my windows are all wet every morning. In 5 hours, i have it down at 52% and the bucket is almost full. I am a bit excited to empty this bucket when it's time. Like i am winning the dampness battle! The musty smell down here is diminishing quickly. I look forward to a better living environment. Thank you. Following up. Couple weeks have gone by. My house FEELS dry. It FEELS comfortable. I walk in and my house no longer smells musty or doughy. I always said it smelled like yeasty dough. I always blamed the cat litter. And I no longer smell cat litter smell... like ever. (And I clean it daily). My windows have had ZERO sweat on them since the day I started using this machine. I am talking about Every single window was foggy and wet! But no more. I have maintained a humidity of 40-45% and now empty the bucket twice a day versus 6 times daily when I started. That being said, since Ive maintained a humidity level I want, I will be hooking up my standard garden hose to it soon, and transition to using it 12 hours a day. I have a half finished basement and a crawlspace in a 1500 square foot house and this dehumidifier has cared for my entire home. Experts say if your basement isn't finished, to run a dehumidifier 24 hours a day. So I may end up doing that if my humidity isn't maintained (as 1/2 is unfinished crawlspace) I honestly love this dehumidifier. It is not completely silent. But it's heck of a lot quieter than most ive ever used, and it doesn't have that loud revving noise some get periodically. It sounds just like a small floor fan is on in the room. If that bothers you, Then use it at night only I guess or keep it in the basement. But it's a great dehumidifier and I would recommend it to my family/friends.
