Excellent Value. - Came in a really nice leather pouch. Pouch and clippers feel like high quality made items. Blades cut through like butter. I chose these mainly for the size variation and especially for the clippings catcher - because I hate having to hunt for or catch the clippings. The catcher works decently. It has to be totally horizontal to catch the clippings. If it's vertical the clippings will just fall out. I couldn't quite figure out how to open the compartment but the clippings come out the front easily if pointed downward with a little shake, so no problem there. The one downside is that the catcher makes it bulky near the blades. Normally a curved clipper will have the clearance to wiggle into tight spaces. With the catcher, the blades are bulkier and it's much harder to shimmy the blades in the best position. It's harder the farther down the nail you want to go. I have used these on myself and also my two 8 month old kittens without any issue. I can trim the cat's nails while they sleep, without any restraint, and they haven't even noticed anything 9 out of 10 times. That's how smooth the cut is. These feel safe and sturdy.
