Haven’t notice any wrinkle changes. But feels nice. No irritations with this product.

My box was open and the product was half empty
It's really disappointing to receive something I spent a lot of money on in such poor condition. I won’t be purchasing again.

Gel-like formula with some powerhouse ingredients; a little oily once on and on the pricier side!
I’ve heard of the Colleen Rothschild line before, but this is my first time trying these products. Overall, I think this is a relatively gentle eye cream. I have sensitive skin, and I haven’t experienced any irritation to my skin or eyes so far. I like the applicator as it makes it easy to apply as well as massage the product gently into the skin. Now, I’ve tried several types of eye creams before, and this is the first time one has had a gel-like consistency. All of the ones I’ve tried up to this point have been more cream-based. That being said, I’m not sure if it’s the texture or some of the ingredients, but to me, this doesn’t absorb into the skin as well. It’s rather oily/greasy, so it sits on the under eye that way. I’m not bothered by it, but I’ve stopped using it during the daytime because I noticed a lot more creasing in the concealer I use under my eye. Now, I’m not 100% sure it’s due to this product, so I instead just made the simple switch to use it solely at night. Now, when using eye creams like this, I think it’s important to adjust your expectations. Claims of helping to get rid of dark circles can feel like a hit or miss sometimes as there are a variety of factors than can cause dark circles (e.g., genetics, age, hyperpigmentation, overall health, etc.). That being said, retinol is a great way to treat dark circles given that retinol can help stimulate collagen production, which can in turn, help with thin skin under eyes (which contributes to the degree of visibility of dark circles) and hyperpigmentation. This particular eye cream features both retinol and Vitamin C, so it does contain some real powerhouse ingredients for the overall health of your under eye area. So far, I’ve noticed that my under eye area feels more hydrated, and it looks a little brighter. I won’t mislead and say my eye circles are completely gone, but like I said, I never had that expectation to begin with. I think it’s nice for helping to manage it so it doesn’t get worse. Overall, this has been a nice eye cream to try. The one caveat for me is the price as I wouldn’t consider it the most affordable eye cream I’ve tried. I think there are other affordable products that work just as well, so I’d say it’s really a personal preference when deciding how much you’re willing to spend on a product like this.

Gel serum doesn’t absorb well
My February 2024 order of ‘COLLEEN ROTHSCHILD Retinol Supreme Eye Serum | Anti-Aging Eye Treatment 0.5 fl oz’ arrived in box with no consumer protection seal (no shrink wrap or sticker seal). The tube inside didn’t have any seal on it either. [Normally for any skin care product I prefer to have some tamper-proof consumer protection seal.] The box indicates this serum is ‘Made in USA’. There is no stated expiration date other than the standard 12M symbol which indicates the serum expires twelve months after opening. The serum itself is a semi-transparent gel, not a cream. Once applied the serum almost melts on your skin, but for me it never really absorbs into my skin even after hours. The serum sits on top of my skin and leaves a shiny, slightly sticky appearance. If you apply as little as possible it helps with appearance, but then you wonder if that small amount of serum can possibly do anything for your skin. After using a week I have not noticed any reduction in eye puffiness, but it does seem that my skin is well moisturized. Still, I would prefer to use a cream product that is absorbed better rather than this gel serum which never seems to be absorbed at all and produces a shiny wet appearance on my face.

okay for using on my necklines
I do already have my favorite eye cream (AMOREPACIFIC Time Response), but I request other eye creams to use on the deep horizontal neckline that I developed in my early 20s. I put the eye cream just on one deep neckline and the other that is trying to form. Then I put thin cotton pads on them and wrap my neck. Doing so has been quite helpful, not only preventing lines from getting deeper but also making them less noticeable. However, some eye creams make my neck skin break out. For your reference, I have oily combination skin that gets sensitive depending on the menstrual cycle. I’ve been trying this one for the last 2 weeks, and so far, no breakouts. I hope my neckline improves after finishing the tube, and I will report back if there is anything worth mentioning.

Rough start, but nice product
I use a lot of high-end cosmetics, and I was a bit shocked at how this product arrived. I'm including a photo of the box - which arrived torn and opened exactly as shown - and it had no plastic safety wrap around it like most products I have ordered in the past. I had to weigh the tube to be sure all of the product was there, and I did confirm it all seemed to be there with no evidence of internal tampering, so I am giving this the benefit of the doubt and assuming it had a rough ride to my place. Even so, it's not a great introduction to a product that is currently priced at $150 per ounce! However, I am not reviewing the packaging (which I give 1 star) but rather the product inside the tube, which seems to be working well. I use this at night after washing my face, and the first couple mornings I woke up with a bit of puffiness under my eyes, but that's settled a bit and may have been related to something else going on in my life. This is kind of a cross between a cream and a gel, and it has a slightly greasy/oily feel which is why I use it at night, but I do think it's making a difference under my eyes. I've had no irritation at all with this, which is nice; I can feel the tingly sensation I expect from Retinol products, but it's much more gentle than the prescription cream which turns my skin red. I've had no such issues with this eye cream. So, while I do like the product, I'm not sure I'd take the chance on ordering this again unless the company shrink-wrapped the outer box as others do to give me more confidence that it hasn't been tampered with. I have not used it yet for the full 28 days, but if I run into problems I'll update this review.
