Easy to use, visual readings with immediate results without needing an app or your phone to measure
Perfect Portable Heart Monitor that works very well. I really like the EMAY portable monitor because it can be used without needing my phone when doing a reading. That is incredibly convenient. For about 2 years, I have had a Kardia monitor, which has its own benefits, but you need to have your phone and the app running to be able to see the reading. Most of the time, if I experience weird symptoms, I don't want to have to spend the extra time fiddling with the phone and the app before I can even use a monitor, to make sure the episode is not missed. EMAY has the perfect device for just that. The features are great, and while I don't have the knowledge to read the ECG results, it will tell me immediately if there is any abnormality. This is my everyday heart monitor now.

EMAY 6L ECG--Great device and great customer service...definitely recommend
The EMAY 6L mobile ECG was very easy to set up; it was already fully charged when it arrived and was ready to go to work. It was surprisingly easy to use and found all the electrical signals it needed for the six channels to start recording after only a couple of seconds. It paired to my Android phone bluetooth with no problem, although if you have no immediate need to print a copy of the ECG graph or send it your doctor, you don't have use your phone at all, and there is no subscription required. It has a very readable screen on the front of the device, unlike some of the competitors for which you have to use your phone to view the graphics. In addition to the 6 channel monitoring, it gives information on your heart rate. It also will provide just a single channel reading by placing left and right hand thumbs on the front sensors, which gives just the basic ECG graphic without the additional details. To activate the 6 channels, just place the device on the LEFT knee or ankle so that the sensor on the back of the device makes direct contact with the skin. In addition to providing the ECG graphics, it does, in real time, provide an analysis of the results and will report if there are any abnormalities. Fortunately, so far, all my tests have reported "no abnormalities", but I thought I would test what happens if I do something to confuse it, and it immediately reported that there was an abnormality. The device seems well made and sturdy, is comfortable to hold and make contact with all the sensors, and is a good size to carry with you on a daily basis or when traveling. Unfortunately, it does not come with a carrying case, which would be handy if you wish to take it with you outside the home environment. (A separate case is available though for sale) Lastly, customer service was exceptional; shortly after I received the product, they contacted me via email to check that I had received it and to see that everything was working properly and asked if I had any questions about using it. I was impressed by that level of customer support! All in all, I highly recommend the device to do what it is designed for, and I recommend the seller for their excellent customer care.

Easy to use, reliable and a great health monitoring tool for the home.
Ordered EMAY 6L Portable ECG Monitor through Amazon after looking at all the reviews. Had considered the much advertised KardiaMobile. But my wife and I have a golden rule ... if something is advertised so much it must not be that great. So enough about that KM ... our EMAY 6L Portable ECG Monitor arrived well packed - reminded me a bit of how Apple ships their iPhones. Unit was extremely easy to set up. Also downloaded the iPhone app to aid in saving PDFs of the ECG chart reports. The app pairs very quickly with the EMAY 6L Portable ECG Monitor. I could then easily save the report to my iPhone and from there "share" via printing, email or via Google Drive. My wife had no problem getting readings on 6 leads even with dry hands, although at one point she did wash her hands to get a better contact. I did find that the best route for taking 6 lead readings was to place the monitor lead on my left knee and then using right and left thumbs of the top contacts. The monitor then clearly displays your ECG waves. It also counts down when to stop. Any dramatic movement will affect your readings causing spikes in the ECG wave display. The monitor will also alert you with a diagnosis such as "no abnormalities", "tachycardia" (fast pulse - which could occur after exercise, stress, a meal with processed meats and sodium, etc), and "potential PVC" and others). The manual is very easy to understand with clear instructions and color pictures. The diagnosis results are also clearly described. So nice to be able to get ECG results at home. Perhaps not as accurate as the hospital but then again we use wrist blood pressure monitors, finger oxygen meters and infrared thermometers to track our health vitals and those are close enough to hospital results. The monitor has a rechargeable internal battery via USB. It was fully charged when we received the monitor. Very happy with this new health monitoring device for our family! And one more thing ... no ridiculous subscription to have to worry about that incurs fees or even your personal data being breached.

Excellent device with no subscription fees!
I bought this device to monitor my wife’s heart condition, in which she has arrhythmia. It has successfully picked up that condition and we are able to track any changes between doctor visits. The peace of mind this provides us is worth the purchase price alone. Of course I use it for myself as well. You never know when a heart condition may develop. This is my second EMAY device, my first one being a one lead ecg monitor. I appreciate the additional information provided by the six leads. It is easy to use right out of the box, but I did notice that you need to make good contact on all the leads to get reliable data. I really appreciate that there are no subscription fees associated with device. Why get penalized for my monitoring your own health?! Very happy with this purchase.

High-quality device
As a former firefighter paramedic, I have experience, knowledge and understanding of EKG machines and heart rhythms. As an athlete, I monitor my health by tracking my vital signs. I use a pulse oximeter and blood pressure machine, but I have not had a portable EKG machine until now. This device is a standalone, portable EKG machine that has the option of a 1 or 6 lead reading. As I understand it, more leads means more views of the heart so if a problem exists, it can be identified. The device is small, lightweight and very durable. The screen is easy to read and the instructions are clear. I have found it very important to wet your fingers, thumbs and the top of the left thigh for proper conductivity in the 6 lead function. Also, I have found it useful to lightly touch the sensors with your thumbs. As it states in the instructions, if you squeeze, it can cause artifact and an improper reading.. I don't touch my leg with my fingers and l don't move. It's very convenient and easy to use. I also like that it's a standalone device and that it has the option of pairing with an app. Attached is a photo of a recent reading of mine after using the device. Thank you.

Easy to use
I had recently, to my surprise, been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat. My mother had heart disease. She had in a regular heartbeat and AFib. I decided to get one of these so I could keep track of what my heart does. So far it has detected possible AFib along with tachycardia. I have been referred to a cardiologist and I'm waiting to speak with them. With this device I can keep track of my readings and show them once I go in. I also chose this device because there is not a subscription fee. Very easy to use and read. The six lead has a higher accuracy than the one lead. I would highly recommend this product if you suspect any heart irregularities. Update**** The phone number that is on the customer support site does not work. I called it at 9:45 and it told me to call back between normal business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. I plugged this in last night to charge it and it would not charge. I called Amazon and they were making an exception to return this and refund me so that I may order a new one. After I got off the phone with them I decided to try a different charger. It charged just fine. I was trying to use a superfast charger. It will not charge with super fast.

Clever and useful device
First, I have absolutely NO medical training. I am a retired electrical engineer who likes gadgets. Recently I had some cardiac concerns and went through a series of evaluative procedures. I've seen the tv ads for the other device and decided to buy, but based on reviews and my own assessment I purchased the EMAY device. I am impressed with the device and its abilities to read the electrical signals that control my heart. Not understanding what I was seeing I purchased an "EKG Interpretation Made Easy" book (sure?). I'm not qualified to give a medical endorsement. But if you want to learn about cardiac rhythms and possibly see how your own heart is functioning this device is interesting. I don't know what the cardio-docs think about patients monitoring their own vitals but that's a conversation anyone should have with their own provider. I can't even spell "PQRST" wave, and now I watch them (!!). Functionally the device is efficient. There is a learning curve on what button does what when and it can be a little confusing initially. Data transfers to your phone and subsequently a computer are straightforward. The print outs available from the app look quite professional (IMHO). Other reviews accurately note no need for third party services (and fees) to achieve full functionality. I do have a benign essential tremor and I have found that seems to interfere with getting a clean cardio trace. Also you have to self calibrate your touch to the pads (not too soft, not too hard, just right). I'm glad I made this purchase.

Fast, accurate, easy to use, 6-leads. No phone, no fuss!
This little device is super!!!! It starts up fast. Its compact. I don't need my phone to use it, but I can sync via Bluetooth if I need to - and that is seamless too! It shows a variety of abnormal rhythms, which is useful for me since I have several odd things going on. I previously had another (well advertised brand) monitor . . . but it required a phone sync but would not work with my brand/type of cell phone, so I returned that. And the EMAY has a 6-lead track that is great. I would recommend this monitor in a heartbeat! Ha!!
