Sounds Great!
This thing works as good as any high end pedal, and for a fraction of the price. I bought this not expecting much, however after I tested this thing out, I was very surprised. It sounds great. Tuner mode is extremely accurate. Has remote to your phone. Models various amps. Built-in effects processing. Bluetooth. This thing recharges and holds a charge for enough to do almost 12 hours of playing. Charge up with a phone cable. Love this thing. Don't hesitate if you're looking at this. Just buy it. A bunch of my friends also bought these. Great fly rig. I would not hesitate to use this live. XLR, and quarter inch out.

Super easy to use and really versatile
The Playwell TANK-G pedal comes with tons of effects, making it perfect for all kinds of music. It’s really easy to operate, and the app makes tweaking sounds a breeze. I mainly use it for metal and it sounds perfect — heavy and clear. Plus, it comes with switch protectors, which is awesome to avoid accidental presses. Overall, a solid, versatile pedal that’s a great value!

I love this thing!
The online video reviews are correct; you get a LOT for your money with this modeler/processor/pedal. I mean, you'll obviously get more with most processor units that would cost you several hundred dollars, but this thing punches above its weight. The presets sound good and give you a wide range of styles and sounds. Yet it's also easy to edit them. I have other units that have deep LCD menus (and/or phone apps) that you have to navigate to tweak or edit your sound. This one is is all knobs, and it makes this thing a breeze. (You can also edit and configure through a phone app.) Construction is super-solid. TANK-G is well named. Size-wise it's convenient to throw it in your gig bag or backpack and take it with you. As a matter of fact, between the solid effects, amp and IR cabs, its heavy duty aluminum construction, its small size, and its intuitive stomp button navigation, there is only one aspect that I believe may keep you from gigging it. When you switch between presets, there is a slight drop of signal, just for a brief, brief moment. It's probably not enough to affect the performance, especially in a band situation where the rest of the music may cover it. It's not really that big of a deal; you just need to know about it. Also, there is an app that allows firmware updates, so they may even fix this with a future update. Speaking of the app. You can use it to import presets and IR Cab files. Even without the app, you can connect your phone/tablet/computer via bluetooth and play backing tracks through it as you play. Buy it. I believe it's the best bang for your buck in this arena.

Great multi pedal and great amp sim!
Works and sounds great! Better than expected. This also has great hard rock and metal tones if you want them! Lots of flexibility and easy to use. I bought it for the live modes. Well made. What a great deal! Just buy one today!

Good for bedroom playing with headphones
It has some good effects, but will never take the place of individual pedals. Pros *Headphone jack *Rechargeable *Long battery life *Compact *Light but sturdy case *Quite a few effects *Customizable *Built in tunner *Has app to customize further Cons *massive noise trying to use it with other pedals

Cheep, but it works.
An excellent pedal for the price. The sound is pretty good, and the tuner works well. It comes with a charging cable and a mini jack. The build quality is solid. A great option for plug-and-play sessions.

Don't expect to get the sounds that this product says it produces.
I love how easy it is to work with. However the sounds that it say it produces kind of sounds right but lacks clearly. Mesa boogie or Marshall is a far cry from what it produces. This thing is perfect for practice just to get some effects. The effects are very bland but noticeable and do work with very little ability to change them. Overall for the money it's not a bad buy but don't expect you get big sound.

Great Multi Fx / Feels Solidly Built
For the price, I think this is an excellent multieffects pedal. Presets are OK to great. I usually just use it on LIVE mode, essentially like a pedal board. Buttons, knobs and housing feel sturdy enough. Internal rechargeable battery is great and super convenient. Really perfect for garage/small gigs. Only 2 gripes - 1. Microsecond delay when engaging the pedal, really not good for live scenarios but completely workable 2. Lack of boost function, so you may need to rely on your guitar's volume control. Again completely workable. Reverb and digital delay has a nice range. Modulation effects are NOT great; you can still probably dial a decent chorus or flange, but definitely on the lame side. Overall though, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to buy again if this ever craps out on me down the road.

I recently tested an Azor Cube Baby, and was really impressed by its versatility. This Playwell Tank-G is basically a beefed-up version of a Cube Baby, so I was eager to see how it would perform. While the Cube Baby only has 3 save slots, this has a total of 36 editable presets organized in 9 banks of 4. Navigation is relatively easy (everything is marked on the top and it quickly becomes second nature), but my heart sank a little as I realized the presets were mainly geared toward cleans and lower-gain tones. There are dirty sounds, but I found them somewhat lackluster. There’s far more waiting inside than the presets would lead you to believe, however. It has 9 different amp models (I know I said 8 in the video...and the Diezel is number 8, not number 7) that can deliver oodles of guitary goodness. There are two cleans (a Twin and “Archetype”...which might be an AC30?), three overdrives (Marshall JVM410, Friedman 100, Marshall Plexi), and four distortion (Marshall AFD 100, Peavey 6534, Diezel Hagen, EVH 5150). If you invest a little time experimenting with the amps and settings, you’ll quickly find a lot to love. I prefer the knob design to the buttons you find on most multi fx pedals these days, as these feel so much more natural and immediate. The colourful LEDs are also a big plus, and the 8 IR cabinet sims offer a variety of instant EQ variations. Some are bright, some are dark, some are compressed, but they all do something unique. Pros: -Good build quality; aluminum housing feels very durable, as do the switches -Attractive style and beautiful LED lighting -Built-in battery means no more worrying about finding a spot to plug it in -Very good sound quality; lots of tasty tones to be had -9 amp models, 8 IR cab sims, 3 flavours of reverb types, 3 types of delay, 3 mod effects (chorus, phaser, tremolo), and a noise gate -Quite versatile; sort of like a big brother to the Cube Baby (maybe a Cube Teen?) -XLR out to go direct into boards, speakers, and/or recording interfaces -A fair number of videos available online to help if you’re having problems Cons: -Manual is fairly superficial; should contain much more information than it does, and leaves you to figure much out on your own -Amp models are different from the ones on the M-Vave Tank-G -Can accidentally overwrite a preset if you happen to long-press a button while holding or carrying it -Presets are a bit underwhelming and could be ordered better -Volume differences between presets; I think they were trying to set them up so that you could go from quieter cleans to louder dirty sounds, but they missed the mark a bit on that one -Only 3 mod effects; would be nice to have more variety and/or an expression pedal -Really wish it had a looper -Can’t set the delay for a single repeat, and it’s harder to dial in the delay time than it is on the Cube Baby -Not plug and play with a computer or phone; Windows/Mac software and iOS/Android apps can be downloaded from their website, however -Wish it had a little carrying case included I realize I listed a lot of cons above, but those are fairly minor complaints. So far I’m VERY happy with this purchase. I’ve been playing around with it for the last four days, and still haven’t seen everything it can do yet. The sound quality is very good, and it represents a nice middle ground between the more limited Cube Baby and pricier Zoom-style multi fx units. It would be nice to have more effects available, such as a looper and/or wah, but it’s great for what it is. I think $99.99 is a fair price, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. If you're looking for something a little simpler, the Cube Baby would also be a great choice. My rating: 4.5 stars

Wow. This is amazing for the price!!! Seriously amazing. Note to buyers. Many of the effects use built in amp cabs and heads designed to mimic some pretty well known classic amps. 'See the booklet for a list of these abd what order they are on the relevant dials' You might find using the pedal straight into headphones sounds amazing but then struggle to get the same tones from plugging into youre amp. The reason this is is because you're amp is designed in what ever way the company who designed it to sound its best when a guitar is directly plugged into it. With this pedal in between you're guitar and amp the amp models then fight against the amp itself and can really affect how it sounds. Classic stomp boxes are best for amps. With multi effects pedals like this when amp types are built it is far better for plug into a pa type generic or frfr speaker. You'll find the pedal sounds a whole lot better just like when used with you're headphones. Well thats my experience anyway with pedals like this. Alternatively when using with a normal amp turn OFF the IR CAB dial to get the inteded sound from the pedal through a guitar amp. 100% defo worth the money. Also using this straight into youre computer is going to create some killer recordings. Oh and the app makes dialing in or editing tones much easier.

No regrets. The tank-g is an awesome little fly rig at a ridiculous price. Upload some amps and cabs and a bit of tweaking and you got a great sounding setup. Looks pretty cool too...

Really good little pedal. Well made and sounds great. With a little bit of work this can sound great. I’m using it now instead of my old pedal board. Rechargeable built in battery in brilliant

Bought as a backup for a much more expensive unit and more than does the job. Also better and cheaper than buying individual pedals for beginners.
