I thought the kit was made from quality material. The design was well thought out and simple to use. The constructed bed worked smothely and effortlessly. I dint use the design featured in the package as I wanted the bed to sit on top of a static sofa when in its sleeping position. Also wanted to recycle some old timber wich my customer had lying around.

This should covert most normal beds into a Murphy one, or allows you to construct your own frame, and use it on that.As far as I can see, the only difference between the versions is the plans and instructions. The hardware seems to be the same whatever size or version you choose.I have not used this yet, as it's a bigger project than I have had time for recently, and ideally, needs two people. But I've looked at the kit, and the instructions, which come on a USB stick, and this seems very good quality and it's pretty obvious how it all works. Likely, there will still be some issues when I actually do it, but I don't anticipate anything unsurmountable.The gas springs are the star, and very strong. They will make lifting and lowering a lot easier and smoother. The rubber bumpers on the feet are also a nice touch, as well as the straps to keep the mattress in place when upright. All parts are well made and strong though. The nice thing is that this allows you to use a proper, comfortable bed, with a thick mattress, of your own preference, rather than a guest type affair that you'd likely get with pre-built versions.My kit was for a king size, but I do not plan to make it that size, so I will try and update this later.The price might initially seem quite high, but it's all great quality and other kits, which cost around the same, do not seem as good.This is a Vine Voice review, but that has not changed my opinion and I only review items I would buy. Put this together over a weekend and it’s definitely a solid bit of hardware once it’s all in place, but you’ll need a good dose of patience (and probably an extra pair of hands) to get it there. The instructions aren’t brilliant – a lot of head-scratching and double-checking involved – but the parts themselves feel heavy duty and properly made. Once it’s built, the gas springs work really smoothly; it’s genuinely easy to pull down and fold back up without feeling like you’re wrestling a wardrobe. The mechanism feels strong enough to handle a proper mattress too, not just a thin guest bed one. Just be ready for a bit of graft getting it installed – definitely not a quick flatpack job.

You also get a USB stick that has the assembly instructions on it.All the parts are very well made, the legs have rubber protectors to prtect when on the floor and the two stage gas springs are super sturdy and i dont forsee any issues apart from my ability to do this set justice.It does appear expensive but you are getting a great quality item that allows for space saving as well.

Instructions on a usb stick which is ok if you have a computer…which I don’t….So will have to look on you tube to see….Seems well made…..not set up yet….

This hardware kit is a very heavy duty piece of kit. The instructions come on a USB stick, which is fairly unusual but really helped the installation process. Really impressed with this kit, it is pricey, but it is worth it.
