A must-have book for all academic psychiatrists!

I highly recommend this classic book now in the 2nd edition that first came out in 2005 for psychiatric residents and early career psychiatrists who have an interest in academic psychiatry. It is very comprehensive with a wealth of both very practical tips and long-term strategies for success when faced with the enormous demands for clinical work, teaching, research and administration/university service. I also recommend it highly to mid-career and senior academic psychiatrists not only for their own career development, but also for their mentoring of residents and early career faculty. This is your life preserver! Grab it!
