I recently had surgery that I was told would make some of the places on my body look black from bruising. I began taking this Arnica 2 weeks before surgery and two weeks after. These tablets dissolve quickly and are easy to take, which I like. They are gentle on the stomach and have no real taste. As for the results, it is a bit hit or miss. Sometimes they seem to help with soreness or bruising, and other times I do not notice much. Still, they are simple to keep on hand and worth trying if you want something mild for aches or swelling.

I have used Arnica in the past for healing a bruise more quickly. My husband is on blood thinners, and he recently gave himself a real "shiner" by rubbing his eye a little too hard during an allergy attack. It looked like he had been in a brawl. I will start off by saying I was not told to take nor told I shouldn’t take arnica after my surgery. I made the decision to take arnica for 2 weeks, along with other prescribed and recommended medications from my surgeon, as part of my post reduction surgery recovery. I made the decision after having taken a different brand of arnica for a self inflicted injury, and saw first hand how quickly that injury healed. This particular brand did great and worked as good if not better that I expected for my post surgery healing. It does not help ease any pain, but I believe it helped with swelling, bruising, and over all faster more complete healing. The pills are small and dissolves easily with little to no tase under the tongue. I would definitely recommend and take it again due to how quickly and effective arnica it works to help your body heal itself. It’s not magic, but it helps

This arnica worked well. Took after a surgery and actually advised to start four days before and ended up with minimal bruising. My only complaint is it is sometimes hard to shake out the three tablets you need to take (and of course they should not be touched).

Ordered this per my surgeon for post-op recovery period and when I went for my 1 week & 1 month post op appts., he said i did a great job taking & using all the meds he suggested.... I do believe it was worth it and I'm sure he has seen patients who didn't take it and what the difference would look like.... and it was so easy just letting it dissolve in my mouth.... they don't taste bad at all .... they are tiny!!
