Light weight but seems effective

First and foremost, they fit my Shop Vac 1.25" hose, and my Shop Vac accessories fit on the other end. Also, the four sections provide the user a great deal of versatility. They can be used in a variety of combinations giving the user up to 4.5' of reach. That said, at the unboxing, I noticed that the plastic appeared more brittle than the OEM versions (which I had misplaced). After reading other reviews here, I suspect that that observation was valid. For the moment, I am unsure of their durability which is why I gave this set 3 stars. I will amend that rating later, either up or down. However, the uses to which I apply my Shop Vac (as opposed to my floor vacuum) aren't that demanding. I suspect that these extensions will be more than adequate, and at a very attractive price.

I have to give them 'some' stars as they ARE vacuum extensions that DO fit a 1.25" shop vac hose and there are 4 of them for $15.Are they good vacuum extensions for a 1.25" shop vac hose, though? Hell, no.The flimsiest, wobbliest, most brittle and ill-suited to the job things you could imagine. Slightest pressure applied to the surface you're trying to vacuum and they crack and snap. I knew they would having taken them out of their package and had a good laugh at how rubbish these things were - so I was going VERY gently, and they still snapped and cracked.Avoid like the plague. This is false economy multiplied by four.
