Good product.
Late review. Bought it a year ago. Works well. Side note that is not product related: make sure you're manually disconnecting your line to the ice maker when not in use. I flooded my laundry room because the water feed wasn't shut off. You can find shut off valves at any hardware store or on Amazon.

Perfect size and makes ice quickly!
This ice maker is exactly what we were looking for. Square cubes and it makes ice quickly. Great quality and great price!

Product Review: VEVOR Commercial Ice Maker (70 lb/24h)
The machine is excellent overall – it produces ice quickly and efficiently, which is perfect for daily needs. However, the ice doesn’t stay frozen for long in the storage bin, as it tends to melt over time. To avoid waste, I store the ice in bags in the freezer. It’s still a great investment and definitely helps save money by not having to buy ice constantly. Ideal for home or small business use!

NO COMPANY SUPPORT, NO ICE MAKER THAT WORKS.
This company VEVOR is a joke!! I have been waiting two days now for someone to get back to me in regard to an ice maker that does not work. I have had it for two months and it no longer makes ice. The cube tray in the back does not run water to make the cubes. I contacted Amazon, and even with the 2-year extended warranty, they told me that the manufacturer has to take care of it because it's so new. I bought this ice maker to have ice this summer on the hot days. Well, it's in the 90's, and here I sit. Waste of money. DO NOT BUY THIS! No support what soever.

Ice and lots of it
This maker makes ice and makes it in large quantities. If that's the goal, it has succeeded. I have installed mine in my laundry room, tapping into the water supply line from the washing machine with no issues. Unfortunately, with it being lower (and requiring a water discharge) than the discharge height, I had to install an HVAC condensate pump to assist. For those looking at this, please keep in mind that it does not recycle water back into the pump system. As the ice melts, it drains out and new water is brought in.I will likely replace the water purifier with a more universal fitting one soon. From a making standpoint, it makes a tray (36ea 3/4" cubes) every 15minutes. The density of these can be adjusted by adding/subtracting time on the screen. It does not make pellet or chewable ice, but it does make large quantities.I would recommend a smaller metal ice scoop over the installed plastic one that is included. The one included is large and takes up a majority of the room within the ice box. A smaller metal one would be more suited for breaking up the ice.

the specs are overstated. but works nicely if you don't have a large ice demand
this unit is smaller than you think. (check the measurements) might be good or bad depending on where you use it or need it. it is capable of making 70 pounds of ice, if you're going to be standing right next to it for 24 hours. the real issue is that the storage bin only realistically can hold 4-5 pounds of ice at any given time. there is a sensor that triggers when the ice bin is full and it is triggered by a stray piece of ice usually when there is only 4-5 pounds of ice in the bin, thereby stopping the ice production.it takes about 7-9 minutes (depending on your thickness settings for ice) to make a tray of 36 cubes, which is pretty decent though. so if your ice demand can be met with what i just described, then this is a really nice unit.technically 12 pounds of ice could fit in the bin, but it's not realistic, so don't count on it.there is also a drain for the ice when it melts in the bin, and you haven't scooped it out. that drain just runs out, there is no pump, so if you need to mount it under a counter or on the floor and the drain is not on the floor, or lower than the unit, you will need to buy a pump to get it to a drain location.

Great so far
super easy to install with a sink or faucet with a Faucet Aerator Diverter, the only issue for us was the drainage.... we have ours sitting on top of a liquor cabinet , we just use a 5 gallon jug inside the cabinet and empty it every week or so. As it states in the manual to wait before turning it ON, we waited about 26 hours before turning it on... amazon left it SIDEWAYS on my porch... clearly states "this side up"... Cleary important as the unit is filled with refrigerant. It needs to be brushed out before use, there were tiny plastic bits in the bottom customers don't like plastic bits in their drinks... if those $60 to $120 ice makers dont produce enough for more than 2 people. If you are a family of more than 2, or REGULARYLY use a LOT of ice and hate refilling the water tank, i cant recommend this enough. IDK about a bar or coffee place... LOL probably one of the bigger units OVER $200, as this probably would simply not have enough ice on hand for your rush times. If you go through 15lbs of ice or more in an hour, probably not going to work. lol my speculation, but it has only been a couple weeks.
