Delicious in smoothies and cakes
I am impressed with the quality and delicious flavor of this freeze dried strawberry mix. I added some to a strawberry cheesecake and it significantly improved the taste. I also add it to my smoothies and it really enhances the strawberry flavor. I recommend this product.

High quality
I used this to flavor buttercream and it tastes incredible. I had been using whole freeze dried strawberries before and grinding them myself, this was so much more convenient. Overall very high quality.

Sweet Scent, Subdued Flavor
I have ordered a number of fruit powders and they always smell fantastic, but underwhelm in terms of strength of flavor. This is no different. When you open the bag it's amazingly overwhelming. However, the flavor is nowhere near as strong. It doesn't give you instructions in terms of how much is equivalent to strawberry, so it takes a little trial and error to get the flavor you want.Hope that helps.

Not much flavor
It's alright if you are looking for the nutrients from a strawberry but it did not seem to add much flavor to my shakes. It blended in easily which was a bonus, but I probably will not be purchasing again.

It's exactly what it says it is, best for smoothies
Look, do you know how to use freeze dried strawberries? They are great in smoothies, or blended into milk, as long as you sweeten it. The only thing in the bag is ground up, freeze dried strawberry parts. There's no sugar. There's nothing at all to sweeten it. If you add this to something that needs sweetened, and you don't sweeten it, it's going to be gross.I have been mixing it in my daughter's almond milk to make a strawberry drink that she likes. The almond milk is already sweetened. If you are using regular milk, and you like things sweet, you'll have to sweeten it. The same thing goes for smoothies. If you neglect to blend anything sweet into your smoothies, they will be gross. Adding this to an already sweet smoothie will give it flavor. They did not remove the seeds, so there are ground up seeds in there. That didn't really make any difference. Don't try to bake with this. If you try to make a strawberry cake with freeze dried strawberries, you are likely to make a mess. You'd use these in the frosting, not the cake. You can make a cake with this stuff, but it's not quite the same as using fresh strawberries. You'll want to look up a recipe specifically for freeze dried strawberry powder and follow it to the letter. Or just mix it in a smoothie.

Pure Strawberry, Pure Taste
The first thing I noticed when I opened this pouch of freeze-dried strawberry powder was a very powerful and pungent strawberry aroma. That’s a good thing! This powder is 100% strawberry, with no additives or preservatives or sugar; it’s gluten free and free from most allergens (unless you happen to be allergic to strawberries). It is a very pure product and every 250g / 8.81 oz package is apparently made from nearly six pounds of strawberries. This may explain the premium price.Perhaps I’m the most uncreative person in the world, but I‘ve only used this powder to enhance smoothies. And for that, it’s excellent, offering up a rich and robust strawberry flavor. A little bit goes a long way since the powder is highly concentrated and made from real strawberries. It’s unsweetened, so you may wish to add something to it, but you really don’t have to. Rather than sweetening directly, I added some pineapple juice, as well as some whole fruit, including a banana. And it was delicious!
