Stainless Steel Trim Strip, 304 Brushed Stainless Steel Trim Metal Strips with Adhesive Backing for Home Kitchen Tools, 2 x 29.9 Inch

The eye sore of a missing or cracked mirror door. Used this for the bottom of the mirror door to cover cracked/missing pieces to mirror door. Wanted to do this for years but didn’t know this product existed.

As shown, this strip is not as long as advertised. It’s not even 30 inches let alone 31. Annoyed and will be returning.

Pre-cut stainless steen is hard to find locally so I was happy to find this on Amazon. The quality is good and it has the typical blue plastic protecitive film on the stainless strip. I didn't find the cut edges excessivly sharp but I used fine emory cloth to dull off the edges just to be sure. The adhesive backing seems to be adequate but if it were in a high contact area I would consider removing the adheasive backing and use an epoxy. This would also make the strip more flush with the mated surface. My only suggestion for improvment would be that it was shipped coiled up. I was able to flatten it out fine, but it did take a little work.

Nice looking and clean stainless steel. I used it to fill in below a new oven. But as I was wiping it off, I cut my finger as the edge is very sharp. It was like a paper cut. So, I bought another one and filed the edges down so they were soft and put it over the top of the other one. Also softened the corners which are sharp when it arrives. Problem solved looks great. Also, it attaches very firmly and will stay in place so make sure you place it correctly the first time as you won't get a second chance. I attached one end and then continue to position as I pulled the cover off the back to exposed the glue side.

Item was described as 31 inches by 2 inches. It wasn't even 30 inches. So comes up way shorter than expected!!! If it was off by a half inch or so I can see, this was about a full inch short, and makes a huge difference!

Cabinets are cut wrong and I have a big gap to right of my stove. Easy to cut, peel, and apply. Has a nice finish and appears to stick very well. Check video and pic for final product.

Trim comes rolled up like duct tape for ease and cheaper shipping and because of this doesn’t look like the pictures shown. The adhesive used is barely strong enough to counteract the curl they put into the product and you get a mediocre looking finish. Don’t waste your money with this product.

Placing unrolling and the double stick tape very simple. I bought drill bits. When I went to add holes to add to permanently have wood screw, I found it very difficult for me to drill holes, drill bits broke.
