Update March 2026: new progress photo! Time is obviously a factor in the healing but the tape has helped tremendously. Initial review: I had to get a high risk mole removed below my right eye back in May. I had been using Scar Away gel which didn’t seem to do much but my dermatologist mentioned scar tape and decided to try it. My expectations were low but I read a lot of positive things about it. So my scar was raised, uneven, and still looked very much like a wound. I applied a piece in the morning and proceeded to wear it for 12 hours, by the end of that time it was noticeably flatter. I couldn’t believe it but my partner confirmed the same. I’m currently on day 2 and it’s doing really well. Comfort-wise, the tape is soft almost jelly like and had no issue cutting to size and peeling. Had no issues wearing for 12 hours while working or sleeping and stayed in place the whole time. Again I wasn’t expecting any result but this is kind of crazy, in a good way. I’d say in a few weeks maybe less this scar will barely exist. I also prefer the tape because it keeps the scar protected since it’s still sensitive. Woo!!

I bought the silicone tape for some scars after a lift and very happy with it. They are a pain to clean because they are so sticky. I cut them in half and about 3 inches long each and still have a lot left. So far this has been, the best sticky tape I’ve purchased.

So far so good with these strips. Very easy to use and I feel like the scars are protected.

This is a great product. Unfortunately, it is rather expensive and I was sent a previously opened, incomplete, used product.

In smaller pieces, it doesn't always stay on. If you can, wear it during the day so you can keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't come off in your bed. Otherwise, it's comfortable and effective!

This tape is a miracle! It heals scars so fast. Clear, protects your skin for quick healing.

Works but does not stick for the length of days as promised. I end up wrapping my arm to get the full use of the silicone strips. Truthfully, ScarAway sticks longer (especially in bending portions of your body) does the trick and I notice no difference with either product as to which is getting my scar lighter on my arm but they work.

Not sure how people keep it on. Have some bad scars in my leg which I applied several pieces. Next morning, it all got pealed off. The edges just won't stay on.
