Review: EXACTY what I needed! - I recently moved my bedroom from upstairs, with a high ceiling and ceiling fan, to downstairs with a drop ceiling and no fan. I grew up in South Florida, which means I have to have a fan on to sleep, even in the dead of winter, so I went looking for options. I came across this and decided to give it a try- I'm glad I did! It was a breeze to install and once installed is quiet and VERY effective at giving me just what I needed (constant circulation of air). I have found the low setting to be perfect and the remote is effective as long as it is pointed at the fan. I wish the remote had a more flattened bottom (I put velcro on the bottom and then velcro on the side of the nightstand to keep it in place), and the red speed indicator on the fan body control unit really should auto-shutoff because I had to use tape over it to be able to sleep better without the light shining, but both of those are easy fixes and not something that should cost the product a star. I am exceptionally happy with the product. ## Features - 16" fan blade; 9 fan speeds; Air Volume: 3358CFM - 1 to 7 hours off-timer - Remote control - Oscillating or fixed direction - Requires 11.81 inches of clearance above the grid ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00V6SADWA | | Air Flow Capacity | 3358 Cubic Feet Per Minute | | Brand | SPT | | Brand Name | SPT | | Color | White | | Colour | White | | Control Method | Remote | | Controller Type | Remote Control | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 38 Reviews | | Electric Fan Design | Ceiling Fan | | Electric fan design | Ceiling Fan | | Finish Type | Plastics | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00876840012226 | | Included Components | Remote | | Is Product Cordless | No | | Item Weight | 10.6 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Sunpentown International Inc. | | Material | Plastic | | Model Name | 16" DC-Motor Drop Ceiling Fan | | Model Number | SF-1691C | | Mounting Type | Ceiling Mount | | Noise Level | 58 Decibels | | Number of Blades | 3 | | Number of Power Levels | 9 | | Number of Speeds | 9 | | Part Number | SF-1691C | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Power source | Corded Electric | | Recommended Uses For Product | Air Circulation | | Room Type | Home Office | | Room type | Home Office | | Special Features | Oscillating, Remote Controlled, Timer | | Style | Modern | | UPC | 876840012226 745667336870 | | Voltage | 120 Volts | | Wattage | 30 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SPT - **Colour:** White - **Controller type:** Remote Control - **Electric fan design:** Ceiling Fan - **Mounting type:** Ceiling Mount - **Power source:** Corded Electric - **Recommended uses for product:** Air Circulation - **Room type:** Home Office - **Special features:** Oscillating, Remote Controlled, Timer - **Style:** Modern ## Images ![SPT SF-1691C DC-Motor Drop Ceiling Fan, 16" - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51DSaH0c3lL.jpg) ![SPT SF-1691C DC-Motor Drop Ceiling Fan, 16" - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71r8NttKgFL.jpg) ![SPT SF-1691C DC-Motor Drop Ceiling Fan, 16" - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/511mESumlgL.jpg) ![SPT SF-1691C DC-Motor Drop Ceiling Fan, 16" - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51lZLhs3JML.jpg) ![SPT SF-1691C DC-Motor Drop Ceiling Fan, 16" - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61zND16hjIL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: In the description it says it moves over 3000cfm?
