Great Bilingual Book!
Teaching my son Spanish is very important - keeping the language alive from one generation to the other - and being able to share the classic stories with him in both English in Spanish is ideal. This book, along with the others in the series, help me to do just that! The illustrations are classic, and the text is in both languages on the same page, making it easy to read him the stories without having to worry about going back for word.picture association. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in raising a bilingual child!

Very Well Done
I Purchased This Book For 2 Yr Old My Nephew Who Is Learning To Be Bilingual And He Loves Looking At The Pictures. What I Like Is That The Book Shows The Spanish Version On The Top Of The Page And English Version On The Bottom So That The Book Can Be Read To Him By Anyone. It’s a Great Book That ALL Children Should Have Read To Them (Or Read Themselves As They Are Older) I Recommend This To Anyone Looking To Bring Mother Goose Stories To Their Youngsters.

Libro de La caperucita roja
Creo que el escritor saco del cuento a un gran personaje. El Leñador, que es quien defiende a la Abuelita y a la Capericita. Gracias

Ending is slightly changed. Translates well.
I love that it's a classic story that I can share with my child. I bought this book, because it's bilingual. Trying to incorporate Spanish reading now that my child knows English well. I was a bit dissapointed that the ending was slightly changed. The wolf hides the grandma in the closet. When discovered, he runs away and grandma and Little Red Riding Hood have the best day ever. I prefer the original take where they are devoured my the wolf. I appreciate that the lumderjack wasn't the hero in the story. (A male hero that comes from no where to save the day is a little much.) However, I felt there should have been more consequences. While discussing the book with my child after we read it, I added in a moral to the story myself. I tried to teach my child the dangers of speaking to strangers, which I always believed to be the moral of this story. We spoke of the dangers of wolves and human strangers.Ultimately, I would still recommend this book. I understand that the original ending may be scary for most children. Hope this review is helpful.

Easy for beginning reader in either language
Using for a Kindergartener. We like the was she can follow in English as we read Spanish. Additionally, it is a familiar story, so that helps with reading comprehension of unfamiliar words.

Very Well Done, Kids Loved It!
This is a really cute, well done bilingual fairy tale. My girls [9yo and 11yo] really enjoyed it - I read it in Spanish to them and they read the English. It is a fun way to work on their language skills.
