These are really nice earrings! I originally ordered a different brand of oval earrings, but the posts were soft and easily bent. These posts are solid and the clasps work well. The earrings are really pretty—the sides of the silver have scrollwork designs. They are also solid/nicely weighted, and the garnet color is deep and true to what I would expect (in my picture the color appears to be different between the two earrings but they are uniform in color and match perfectly). They came with a small drawstring bag as well. I highly recommend these!

Stone is very nice. A little smaller tan anticipated but very pretty. I bought the peridot and the color is beautiful.

Let me start with the thing I like best about these earrings - and it's a little odd, so please bear with me - they have real metal earring backs. And here's where it gets odd... I always change out my earring backs for silicone backs because they are more secure, more comfortable, and easier to store in my earring case. But most of the gemstone earrings I have purchased lately have their own proprietary silicone backs, and they are not interchangeable with standard replacement silicone backs. This means that the earrings become useless when the silicone backs require replacement - and they will need to be replaced about every 6 months. So even if I wasn't changing the backs out of choice, I'd still be better off with these earrings because the metal earring backs will last indefinitely. I know how bizarre this sounds, but with literally hundreds of nearly identical earrings to choose from, I will always go for the ones that have the best functionality and longevity. Wouldn't anyone? I'm going back for a few more pair in different colors. And since I can buy three pair of these earrings for the same price I would pay for a single pair of the brand I previously purchased, no complaints from me. :-)
