We had almost given up on trying to get our fussy silky x mini Maltese onto a dry food until we found this gem. Absolutely recommend it to anyone who has tried but failed with dry food for their smaller dog. I do recommend starting with small servings and if they don't eat it within a few hours, to throw it away and out another small amout out later. Also found greater success giving it to him while we were eating our human food or when I was unpacking groceries. It's like a Mexican stand off trying to convince your dog to eat dry food. But remember they will eat it and enjoy it if it's fresh and they are hungry. I also stood by my doggo and cheered him on ("yayyy Chewie! Good boy!" after he took every bite. Might seem like a lot of effort but it wasn't and tbe reward of not having to prepare his every meal was worth it. Will gladly be buying this for the foreseeable future. It's also good to know he's getting the nutrition he needs. Pro tip: buy an oxo pop good grips cereal container to store it so it stays super fresh. Thank me later ;)
