I loved this book. The characters were well-developed and felt so creepy . The suspense kept me hooked from start to finish. One of the most captivating elements of this novel was the discovery of a hidden room filled with audio recordings of Dr. Adrienne Hale's patient interviews. Tricia's exploration of these tapes added a fresh level of suspense and mystery into the plot. Each tape revealed more about the creepy mystery behind Dr. Hale's disappearance, with McFadden masterfully escalating the tension with every new revelation. McFadden threw in some unexpected twists that totally caught me off guard, adding a lot of depth to the story. It's that mix of the familiar and the surprising that really makes this book stand out in the psychological thriller genre. And that plot twist had me like * Every theory I had was totally wrong f. The pacing is perfect, and the tension never drops. This book kept me hooked till the very end. If you love psychological thrillers with big twists and creepy vibes, this is a must-read.

Worth the read but not for young readers, it has that gripping thing and it definitely keeps you hooked all the time, the writing is good as well and ofcourse thriller and plot is why it's hyped and a thriller reader can go for it.
