20" Space Heater, 1500W Fast Heating Heater for Indoor Use, Ceramic Electric Heater for Home with Thermostat, 70° Oscillating Portable Heater with Remote

TL;DR: You will get less noise and more heat from your laptop fan than you will from this space heater. Purchased these for my team at our office, since their offices are always cold. Was optimistic when I saw the units and the 1500W rating. That optimism was quickly lost after about 2 hours of usage. The fans turn on and make "fan" noise, but that's about it. After 2 hours of being powered on at full heat, we could only feel a little, VERY LITTLE heat, when we put our hands 1cm away from the front grille. No, that is not a typo or exaggeration. The only thing these "space heaters" do is take up valuable desk space. The temp controls don't reflect the heat output, the remotes don't seem to work or help, and they are completely ineffective as a fan or a heater. Before anyone says, "you probably got a defective one," we did in fact order 2 units for 2 offices. So, could we have 2 defective units?, perhaps. If that's the case, then that speaks to the quality control of the product. Regardless, we had the same experience with both, and both performed exactly the same...meaning not at all. We did return these, but the performance was so bad, I still felt compelled to write a review so no one else makes the mistake of ordering these. We ended up ordering the Black & Decker 2500W 13 Fin radiator heater with fan, and those are outstanding! My team lets them run at full for about 2 hours to get the room to a nice temp, then must turn them down to 50% for the remainder of the day, to prevent the rooms from getting too hot. Excellent product (re: Black & Decker heater). For some context, our offices for our teams are approximately 4m x 4m x 4.5m tall.
