This little pot is magic! I got it to replace an older one, and I’m so glad I did. It surprised me when I decided to reheat some rice, added a little water and turned it on to Rice. It turned itself off after 15 or 20 minutes, and the rice was reheated perfectly! It must have some kind of sensor in there that tells it how long to heat for. Tonight I heated a can of chicken and rice soup in it, same thing, it ran for about 10 minutes or so and the soup was steaming hot and turned itself off. It’s a perfect size for me, and I am extremely happy with it! Edit: so, it quit working after using about half a dozen times. Dead as a door nail. I returned it for a replacement, because I did like it so much, but this is its last chance!

This little multi cooker is the perfect size for two seniors who don't entertain large groups anymore. I haven't used the egg cooker yet but its definitely a bonus function. To cook 6 cups of white basmatti rice takes approximately 40 minutes.

Perfect small rice cooker for 2-4 people. Makes excellent rice , oatmeal and hard boiled eggs. Only 1 issue. It's slow.. about 37 minutes to make 1 cup of rice or oatmeal 8 oz.. And as in all asian style rice cookers 1 cup ( 8oz. US )of raw product is really 2/3 or 3/4 of a cup. Additionally it has a comparatively small footprint and a keep warm feature. Vg value.
