Can this be appliqued?

The pattern and instructions are set up as a foundation paper piecing for construction. However, there is no reason one can't use appliqued. You would need to call on your experience in applique to do this but again, there are NO instructions to guide you to applique this pattern.

Does this contain the pattern for the paper-pieced blocks?

Hi. Yes. This pattern has a master copy of all the blocks to be paper pieced. The pattern pieces are full sized so no enlargement is necessary. Since there is only one master copy of the pattern it is suggested you make a copy to actually piece on. Just in case a mistake is made you have the master copy for reference.
