On full moons I tape my curtains shut and refuse to talk to anyone. My family is considering banning me from the show , but what they don’t know is that I really am a mermaid. I got this necklace for one of my friends and then I got one so we could match but mine was so bad that it would not stay shut and the chain was so long but lucky I know how to fix necklaces so I just shortend the chain and used some glue to mold out where the locket shut and then it stay shut but I love the show and is a cute design and the one I got for my friend was not as flimsy the only reason I give a 3 stars because it was a little flimsy

I got the big sizes. Perfect like the show. The chains are a bit long, personally but that's an easy fix if you feel the same. Comes with a standard claw clasp. The gems look like they're just glues on but if they do fall off, can be glued on again. Mine look great. I've had them for about a week. Sleeping with one on. The hinges feel tight but that's great. They're not loose and won't fall off! Great price! I got all 3 colors

This necklace is IDENTICAL to the one from the show. If you don’t want a small locket, order the option that says “BIG RED”. That’s the one I got and it’s PERFECT. The locket isn’t loose and the hinge works perfect. Although I do wish it came in a shell box. But it just comes in a little necklace bag with a protective film over the locket. It’s beautiful. And I got Rikki’s necklace because I always felt more connected to her. I’ve already gotten so many compliments! I’m just hoping it doesn’t tarnish or turn.

My 7 year old was so happy!!!! Just like the show. I found a local engraver to engrave her name on the locket. Made for a magical Christmas morning. Now if she turns into a mermaid we may have a complaint!!!

When we first bought it, you would hear a “click” when you closed the locket but it no longer even closes. Just opens on its own and doesn’t stay closed. It was a fun little gift but sadly, a little disappointing.
