BUILD QUALITY - They feel really well built, with quite flexible but sturdy structure and overall really nice finish to it. COMFORT - padding is amazing. Very soft pads and it completely covers your ears. Clamping is average, but thats what it makes comfortable I guess, as it doesn't push hard on your head. However, I would not recommend these for people with small heads. I have bigger than average size head and I use on minimal sizing and it just fits me. CONTROLS - although some reviews said that controls are a bit awkwardly positioned, I didnt find it a problem. I could comfortably switch songs, change volume etc. BLUETOOTH - pairing was easy. Connection mostly is stable (especially if you are not moving). If you walk, then there are occasional drop outs for like 0.1s but they are not too frequent, nothing what would deteriorate your listening experience. ANC - This is my first ANC experience. But I can say that they provide alright noise cancellation. It shuts off most of the rumble noises ( I use underground a lot and it really helps), as well chatter around you (for example in the office). However, not as great as you would probably want to. If there are mid to higher pitched noises, like announcements on the trains or screech of train wheels, accelerating car passing by you can still hear it. But there is significant difference between off/on, in favour of ON. Sounds gets a bit "compressed" as some reviewers said, but if you turn on volume 1-2 bars higher after switching to ANC, then actually sound is more crisp, and bass is still good. SOUND QUALITY - it is well balanced, cannot really complain. Treble, mids, bass are all there. Even with ANC I really enjoy my music a lot. I listen all different genres, from classic to metal to trap, and it handles everything like a champ. BATTERY - They came pre-charged but not fully, and they lasted me for a week currently. I listen to music while commuting and at the office a bit, which account for up to 1.5 - 2 hours a day. I am yet to test them on full charge. WIRED - Today, battery died while I was getting back home and I just switched to a wired option and enjoyed my music further. No real difference in sound quality with wired or not. Both excellent. OVERALL - for 70 pounds I can easily recommend these. For 99% who are casual listeners like me, you will really enjoy this pair. They feel really nice and look really nice and provide excellent listening experience.

I decided to get some bluetooth headphones after my Goldring NS1000s broke. Initially I was a bit sceptical of the quality of any bluetooth headphones under £100 - but I have to say I am very pleased. The build quality is good, and the pads fit around the ears nicely without pressing on the ear and causing causing discomfort like a lot of on-ear headphones do. The volume is nice and loud, and the bluetooth connection is very stable. I have yet to experience any problems with latency after about a month of use. The fact that the headphones have a cable as well as bluetooth is great, so you don't have to worry about them running out of battery on long trips (although the battery lasts an impressively long time regardless). The only real downsides to these headphones are: The battery is internal and not replaceable (although I don't find this a problem due to the battery already lasting a long time and having the option to use the included cable). The sound quality is not top of the range. When I say this, I mean that they are perfectly good quality for 99.9% of people (including myself, and I consider myself a bit of an audiophile). But if you're expecting BOSE quality, you'll have to have a lot deeper pockets. However these are very good for the price. The final (and biggest) problem, for me, is the noise cancellation. It's not that the noise cancellation isn't good - it's pretty good (not great, but enough for use on trains and planes in combo with the high volume and tight seal) - but rather that when noise cancellation is on, there can be some sound distortion due to vibrations (such as being on particularly shaky public transport). This really is the only thing that bugs me about these headphones, because otherwise I think that they're great. Personally though, I'd still buy these headphones again, and will happily award them 5 stars, since their build, features and quality considering the price make them well worth it for general everyday use.

Bought because of the praising reviews everywhere, but I'm a little disappointed. They are okay, but I would certainly not call them exceptional. Pairing is fast and without any issues, you'll get clear audible confirmation that the device is on/pairing/connected/etc. Range is definitely up to specification. I experienced a few dropouts, probably due to interference, but nothing annoying. When using the headphones without ANC on, you can hear a faint white noise/hissing when the Bluetooth connection is active but there is no sound playing (for example when you pause a song/video). When the Bluetooth connection becomes inactive (a few seconds after you pause a song/video) the headphones 'pop' before they become silent. This makes them unpleasant to use for browsing/youtube/etc. when you only have sound playing intermittently and also for use on low volume. When you continuously listen to music on a reasonable volume you won't notice this hissing, except for maybe classical music. The hissing and pops are not present when you use the supplied aux cable. Sound quality is good, but not exceptional. I found the lows a bit muddy, low-mids sometimes a bit muffled. They tend to sound better on higher volumes. With ANC on, the sound changes. Lows sound a little more compressed, mids and highs sound more centered. I would say the sound with ANC on is good when the volume is 50% and higher. Don't expect complete silence from the noise cancellation. They do filter out certain noises, but certainly not all. I would say 80-90% of repetitive/continuous low noise will get filtered out, mids and highs, like voices, only 20-50%. For ANC to work you definitely need to set the volume fairly high and ANC also induces an additional white noise which is fairly present on low volumes. In short, the ANC will work on a plane, but not for something like studying.

Great headphones. Nice fit, and easy to set up with my android device. The sound is clear, though the bass is not huge. Setting up these phones to work with a windows 7 laptop was very time consuming. In the end I needed to search for drivers that supported A2DP and worked with the bluetooth hardware on my laptop. Took a few hours to narrow down the issue.

I was very sceptical when these headphones arrived as they where not expensive (not cheap either!) route into noise cancelling headphones. Let me start with the noise cancelling part, unlike others I am more than aware that what they actually do is eliminate (as best as they are able) frequency bands and therefore you can still hear people speak, in, for example, a car. However all the drone from the road noise (lower frequency than talking) is virtually eliminated, so big tick for this feature. I also like the fact that that you can activate the noise cancelling without having to connect to an audio source. Next is sound quality, it's actually not too bad, they have a good frequency range and don't distort or have any other strange noises, so again, for the money another big tick in the yes box. Next is comfort, as the headphones rotate, and there is smooth adjustment on the head band it always easy to get comfortable, the cups covering my ears nicely without feeling like they're wedged in... The build quality is also above average so, with care and putting them back in the supplied semi rigid case (nice item) I can see these lasting untill the non removable (ok, so I'm betting it's not rocket science to change the battery, but for the sake of today's throwaway society) battery fails. I have not had an issue with battery life, running Bluetooth, audio and noise cancelling for a total of about 12hours on a few occasions without any range or other issues. I'll probably leave it a bit longer next time as the stated is about 20hrs and I have no reason to think that's not realistic. So all in all a very good buy for most situations and better than expected noise cancelling and battery life so I definitely recommend these if you're in the market for a pair.

I am a little confused as these are showing on my account as the ones I ordered a few weeks ago for my Mother in Law. However, I bought them based on the description on Amazon as being noise cancelling etc., but the ones delivered were not at all like the ones pictured her, and certainly do not have the same specification. The sound quality is very average and the ones delivered have no active noise cancelling. My Mother-in-law also reports that the maximum time she can wear them for is one hour as they become too uncomfortable.

The sound quality of these headphones is just outstanding. They play nice and loud with no distortion to the sound quality and they have a really good depth of bass. Has a noise cancelling technology, witch isolate what you are listening from the external noise. Battery life seems to be ok. I've been using its from two days, regularly, without the need to charge.

I've only used on two long haul flights so far. Outward to watch 4 or 5 films from London to LA. Absolutely effective over cabin plane noise and allows you to hear the films clearly. Easy to use and set up. On the way back the plane entertainment system wasn't working but luckily I had House of Cards on my laptop so watched several episodes of that instead. Again excellent sound whilst removing all the ambient noise and for a fraction of the price of the Bose models. Don't waste your money, buy these instead.
