Great post cataract surgery when the glare is bright but you transition into a low light place...you can keep your shades on but just flip them up and you can see!

Bought these for my mom who needed them for a few days. She said they were perfect during the daytime and didn’t let light in.

Perfect following cataract surgery. Fits perfectly over my glasses. Plus the flip up lenses are great for when in a shady area or entering indoors.

Oh man. So sad, really. In paper they sounded great—the flip top part especially! But in reality, they didn’t fit my glasses and given the nosepiece I’m not sure how many glasses that they’d fit. But I think the most important reason for returning these is that they simply aren’t going to work as cataract glasses because there is far too much light getting in through both the bottom of the lens piece as well as through the nose. If they simply god rid of the nosepiece (or made it removable for prescription wearers), and extended the lens further down/wrapped it up towards the face some, how perfect would they be?? Oh man, I needed these to work. My other cataract sunglasses get so hot and for driving purposes a flip top was such a genius idea for when they get hot or when you go through a tunnel.
