I have probably played this game more than a lot of games in my collection. I love the versatility, being able to play it solo, as a duo and as a group. The tiles are small but beautifully made and can also satisfy your ASMR needs 🤣 great wee buy and travel everywhere with me now

A super-compact mahjong set with two dice and two blanks. This is very much designed for travel, so you don’t get any tile stands or anything. Just the tiles. It comes in a quite nice rigid cardboard box that would be fine to store it in long-term, as the tiles take up pretty much the entire box.Would have been great if they’d put some info in on how to play, but then again there are several different versions of the game, and trying to learn mahjong from what would likely be a rather broken s=translation would probably do more harm that good. Better to fall back on a dedicated website of videos for instructions.But the tiles feel nice quality, the casting is smooth, and the printing is clear. The bamboo suite have a slightly odd design, but it’s obvious what they are, so not a problem. They have a good weight, and you get that nice satisfying ‘click’ as you use them on a hard surface.All in all a great little travel set which seems like it would effortlessly stand the test of time. Recommended.

If you like Mah-jong then this is a perfect little set. It's a small set so quite portable and great for taking travelling with you. The pieces are quite small but still easy to read and concise although a little bit fiddly to pick up if you've got old hands.Unfortunately there's no instructions and the text on the back of the box is all in Chinese so I wouldn't suggest this for beginners. If you do know how to play though (and thanks to "Like a dragon" series, I do!) then you've got what you need, albeit in a mini fashion.All in all, there isn't much to say about it. It's good quality, you get everything stated all in a nice portable little box. At £19.99 plus a 10% voucher I think the price is reasonable and I'm happy with it.
