my salad topper has 4 month expired code date should i call fda?

Is it a “sell by date” or a “use by date”? As they are not the same thing. A sell by date is used by the merchant to maintain freshness of products on the shelf, and help with rotation of products. A use by date is the date used to judge optimal freshness of a product after purchase. Neither one is an expiration date, more like a “best if used by” indicator. Calling the FDA would be a waste of time and effort, they will just tell you to contact the company you purchase it at/from or throw it away if you are that worried about it. It should still be safe to eat, but like all nut products it may be stale tasting after some time.

How far out is the "Best By" date?

This product has a 9-month shelf life. KBC Solutions buys direct from the manufacturer. If purchased from KBC Solutions, the best by date on this product currently should be August 2019. Other sellers may have product that expires before this date.

I have a soy sensitivity. How much soy is in this and in what form?

No idea of the quantity, but the soy is in the form of tamira sauce which contains soybeans.

We love this product and since it is a seasonal item at Costco, we were thrilled to find it on Amazon. It makes your salads pop with flavor and texture. It contains a blend of sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, green pumpkin seeds and is in a resealable package so it stays fresh for months. It can also be added to yogurt, oatmeal and your favorite recipes for cookies, breads, rolls, etc. I am excited to try some of the other products from this company in the future. Highly Recommended!
