I used to dry off after a shower and use no moisturizer, but as I've gotten older and drier I wanted to change that. This product instructs you to apply it immediately after bathing, while your skin is still damp. It comes in a spray bottle and so my initial thought was to spray it directly where I wanted it, but the spray is more of a hard stream that a diffused mist. At first I didn't like that, however I realized a mist could cause overspray and make my floor slippery so I guess I don't mind that much. So I spray directly into my hands and then apply like a regular lotion. It is clear and lightweight, like a gel, and has a very pleasant gender neutral fragrance - warm and herbal, a little sweet, and slightly woody. It does not irritate my skin and is easy to reapply throughout the day. I like that I can apply it immediately before putting clothes on and not have to worry about transferring a greasy residue.
