Before I was ready to write this review, I was mindful that some reviews were poor implying that there may be occasional manufacturing faults and failures on arrival. Indeed on initial use there was some distortion suggesting poor digital processing of a maybe weak signal. However I now have to say I have no hesitation in giving five stars. The set up was speedy and a simple downloading of all the stations I would have expected. It charged up quickly and when I removed the USBC cable Lo and Behold the sound immediately became perfect. In fact almost HiFi quality. The physical build is excellent and the buttons simple to use. The screen, though small is amazingly high resolution and easy to read the text description of the program. Well worth the reasonable price.

This is just brilliant. Great sound, easy to use, set up and change stations. Charge lasts well. Great for the bathroom!

Good value: ticked all my boxes: dab+ and FM with stereo on headphones mimijack. Charge via usb c, and Bluetooth reception allowing to play your phone or iPod media. Plus a very complete decent size colour screen. The sound from the loudspeaker is surprisingly good and the 5W power output is real RMS. Four stars instead of five because 1. in the absence of a tone knob, the equaliser offers only a range of preset (classic, pop, jazz, flat, bass boost, etc.) a graphic display would have been preferable and... 2. The not very clear user manual (and I read French, German, Spanish and Italian) doesn't explain how to go further than 4 digital favorites instead of 20 like with the FM programmes...

AS a bit of a radio obsessive, I always need several radios around me. Sadly my last digital radios have not lasted more than a couple of years, mostly to do with problems with charging. Only time will tell if this one will last longer but so far I like its ease of operation, its volume, its portability, its clarity of sound, its reception and its stability. Fingers crossed it will last longer than previous ones...

DAB and DAB+ work well (in UK if it picks up "Classic FM" then you know DAB+ is working). FM sensitivity is quite good, even though the received signal strength where I live is not good. Sound quality is reasonable for such a small, very cheap device. Bluetooth works fine, but see my suggested improvement to the manufacturer below. Usability also good, it's easy to use all the functions without referring to the instruction book. Note the comment made by another reviewer - the alarm will not work unless the device is charging with the USB cable. This is stated in the instruction book, but not on the Amazon description. It has one hidden function that I think is good, related to the clock and alarms. It is hidden because neither the Amazon details, nor the instruction book say anything about it: When you first switch on after purchase, it will scan for DAB stations and can be used as expected. When you switch it off, either with, or without the USB charger connected, the screen will go black. But if you set an alarm just once and switch it off then the device will show the time on the screen whilst turned off. I find this useful to use as a clock, especially during the night. The clock can be set to either analog or digital display, the digital version has nice big numbers in a dim orange colour. It will also show whether the alarms are enabled or disabled. This will still happen even if the alarms are subsequently disabled, so long as an alarm was previously enabled at least once and the device turned off, but ONLY if the USB charger is connected. One minor negative point and one suggested improvement: It is a shame that, in common with most mobile phones, the alarm won't work if the USB charger is not connected. Obviously this makes sure the alarm doesn't fail because the device has run out of power, but I think it should be up to the user to ensure the device has enough charge to last the night and make the alarm sound! I have to take yet another device on trekking/camping trips to make sure I get up the next day :-( The suggested improvement is as follows: The Bluetooth works well to play an MP3 player or mobile phone through this radio as a speaker. But it would be good if we could connect Bluetooth headphones to listen to the radio. This is impossible because there is no way to pair headphones to the radio, at least I've never seen any headphones with that capability. I'm sure this radio could have additional user interface settings to choose headphones to pair with, but I realise this will probably require alterations to the Bluetooth protocol supported by this radio device as well. Should just be software changes I expect, no hardware changes should be required? Just a thought for the manufacturer or for the seller to feed back to the manufacturer. Admittedly I don't know the Bluetooth protocol, maybe its forbidden for a device to selectively choose between being a Bluetooth speaker or a Bluetooth player at the user's choice? But I really think this would be just a software programmer's task to make it work!

This is an absolutely superb radio, neat and compact Very good sound quality and battery life. Easy to work with and it has a lovely display screen which gives a whole myriad of useful information. My only concern was over presets as I was struggling with the instructions in the booklet. The seller responded very promptly with the following instructions, which are not in the book, and to now performs exactly as it should. Overall, fantastic radio and seller. 1/ Tune in to the station you want to save to Favorites. 2/ Press and keep holding the Fav button for 1-2 seconds AFTER the screen has changed to the Preset Recall menu. 3/ Release the Fav button, select your desired preset number using the volume control knob, then press OK. The screen will show a large green circle with a white tick indicating the station has been successfully saved.

One of the best purchases I have made . For a small compact radio the sound from this is great. I have it on the top of my bureau where I work and it takes up very little space. It's very easy to turn on and off and the volume knob is on the top so any adjustments don't disturb the stability. It's quite a weighty little thing and obviously well made not like some of the small tinny sounding radios. It easily picks up all of the radio stations which I choose to listen.

Excellent value for money for a small, portable DAB/FM radio and bluetooth player. Easy to find radio stations and set as favourites.

Le doy 4 estrellas porque la radio en general es muy completa. Volumen mínimo adecuado para usarla como radio de cabecera, buena sintonización FM, alarma dual, reloj. Por ponerle una pega, quizás debería tener la opción de poder atenuar la pantalla completamente pasado un tiempo, sólo tiene que se atenúe a un brillo mímino, pero para dormir también es molesto.

Makkelijke bediening door de aanwezigheid van veel knoppen. Goed geluid voor een kleine speaker. Had voor mij wel groter kunnen zijn.

La batterie dure longtemps (environ 2 semaines avec 1h/jour). Recharge usb-c (normal mais on trouve encore du micro usb sur certains produits...) Le son est généreux et ne sature pas pour un petit appareil. La réception des stations FM est très bonne (chez moi). Les réglages sont simples à faire et il y a assez de boutons. Au delà des 4 boutons de présélection FM on peut mettre jusqu'à 20 favoris visibles sur une liste facile à faire défiler avec les flèches droite / gauche + OK pour valider. C'était le point le plus important pour moi. Et nombre de radio ne savent pas faire. En revanche ma femme n'aime pas le look qui fait un peu jouet. J'aquiesce. Adossé à un mur, lorsqu'on clique sur un bouton, la radio bascule de quelques degrés contre le mur. Rien de rédhibitoire mais agaçant a la longue. C'est l'excroissance de l'antenne derrière qui fait ça. Lorsque l'écran se met en veille (très rapidement) on n'arrive plus vraiment à lire. Mais c'est peut-être le prix à payer pour une batterie qui dure.
