Losing Social Intellect: The core reason behind the troubles in Free Market Economy and Democracy (Fundamental Awareness in Economics and Politics) Paperback – January 12, 2024

After about 40 pages I returned the book (I've never returned a book). The writing style and format are truly awful. The author states in the introduction that it is written in recognition of the short attention span of the reader. The author also directs the reader to 'read between the lines', essentially directing the reader to write their own book. Horrendous. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

An introductory text as well as a cautionary exploration of how fragile societies can become. Recommended to those willing to have their beliefs reviewed. Written to suit those 15 to 25 years of age. But also useful for their parents. I am enjoying it despite it's simplicity.
