Wonderful arias, magnificent tenors. Many a long car journey has been enjoyed when this CD is playing, although if the driver is alone, then a fourth tenor can be heard.

An der musikalischen Zusammenstellung gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Was allerdings auffällt, ist, Viele Aufnahmen sind, gemessen an den heutigen Möglichkeiten, liederlich bearbeitet. Halt ein Weihnachtsschnäppchen für den unüberlegten Käufer.
