Work very well if a little warm
I use two of these to connect Sodola managed and unmanaged switches. Decided to play it safe and buy the same brand and they work very well with a short, good quality cat6 cable. As other reviewers have said, they do run a little hot, but well within the specs. Easy to set up, plug and play.

Runs extremely hot
This sfp works fine and is plug and play. However it gets extremely hot - I’ve not been able to measure it but the certainly hot enough to burn you if you held it long enough. I’m not sure if this is a fault or if they’re meant to run this extremely hot - I’m considering returning it.

When I first got this Transceiver I was a little hesitant due the brand since I don't know it but it is been a while and so far so good, no problems no drama just plug and play.

The 10GBase-T SFP+ adapter works exactly as expected — truly plug and play with no additional configuration required. It connected instantly and delivered stable 10GbE performance in my setup. However, as other reviewers have noted, it does run very hot. Under heavy load, the module reached up to 60°C. To address this, I added a few small heatsinks, and that brought the temperature down significantly — now it hovers around 45°C even during sustained use. Overall, it’s a solid adapter for the price, but I definitely recommend adding passive cooling if you plan to use it in a tightly packed or poorly ventilated enclosure.

Dieser Artikel funktioniert nicht an einem Zyxel XGS1930-52. Er wird sehr heiß und fällt ständig für einige Sekunden oder sogar 5 Minuten aus. Im Automatikmodus des Switches wird er nicht erkannt, nur im manuellen Modus. Support vom Hersteller ist nur in English. Module von anderen Herstellern funktionieren im gleichen Switch einwandfrei.
